Thanking God for His faithfulness!

31 years back on May 6th, 1982, Leslie and me were married in Coonoor.

As I look back at these at these 31 years...I can't help but thank God!

Life sure has not been a bed of roses. 

As most mothers, my life was spent pressing on, believing, holding on in faith, praying, paying bills, making beds, fixing breakfast and lunch, helping kids with home work etc.

Marriage sure was and is not a life long date, nor bringing up kids all fun.

But its a joy to see kids grow, its satisfying to see relationship with kids and spouse be strengthened through years. 

Looking back I can thank God not just for good times but also for the storms and thorns because it's the tough times that has made us stronger and so it is worth it all. And God makes everything work for our best and binds us with cords of love that cannot be broken!

Family sure is a school of patience. Success of a family depends on having the right attitude, tolerance, acceptance and unconditional love.

Children are a gift and heritage from the Lord. It's a blessing to have them around and see them grow, study, excel and I thank God for even their fall and failures it has made them wiser, tough and strong. 

God has helped them every step of their way. 

Finally they finished their education and started working. It is a proud moment to see them stand on their own feet. Feel so...blessed when they lend us a helping hand, surprise us and bless us!

So...thanking God for not just ♥Leslie but also for our kids ♥Rebecca and ♥Samuel, for the good and bad times, for the roses and thorns, for times of plenty and times of want. Our Lord is faithful to see us through and bring us victorious!
