Letting go of Offense

WE will come across people who will offend us knowingly or unknowingly.
But is it right to hold onto offense against people who offend us?
Apostle Paul writes in
Acts 24:16 This being so, I myself always strive to have a conscience without offense toward God and men.
We too sometimes offend people unknowingly. And there are people who will react negatively to the offense cause.

Bet is forgive, forget, let go of all negative feelings and move on.
Life is short and eternity isn't!
As Paul writes let us strive to have a conscience without offense toward God and men.
🌷I remember something brother Grant Lehmant had posted on FB some months ago:
Quote>>"There is a scriptural tool for an offense, An offense is a divine tool to disconnect you from someone unqualified for your future.
We must not give life to that which the Lord is trying to root out. When God wants to protect you, He removes someone from your life.
When God wants to bless you, He brings someone into your life."
Any so called friend of yours that can influence others to act negatively towards you, either by a lie or truth twisted or real truth out of order.
You can thank your so called friend that has flushed out the 'others' who would never be there for you anyway.
Spend your time with those who celebrate you, not just tolerate you.
You have never lost a true friend, only an impostor. <<Unquote

🌷So true, people who truly care will stand by you through thick and thin, will cry with you in times of pain and rejoice with you in times of joy!
Let us let go of all offense and move on in life.
There is so much in life to do let not offense hold us back or slow us down.
Have a blessed day!!

Love of many will grow cold....

Wonder why love in many vital relationships is growing cold?
Wonder why there is coldness in relationships between parents and children, husband and wife, some do not seem to know who their close relatives are.
Cyber world has opened door to online relationships and friendships which have in some cases taken over real, vital relationship!
The Bible says in
❤️ Matthew 24:12 “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.”
But again our Lord commanded in
❤️John 15:17, "This is my command: Love each other."
If we are sure of our destiny in Christ let our hearts and thoughts are to be filled with His love, peace and truth and we will be known we are disciples of Jesus Christ by our love for each other.
Our Lord Jesus Christ said in...
❤️John 13:35 "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
May His love fill our hearts and thoughts,
May God revive and renew ever vital relationship that has turned cold.

Hang in there~BY: Denise Lanford

Hang In There
Just "hang in there",
when things get rough...
There are countless times
when life gets tough.

Just tie that knot,
and hold on tight,
it won't be long,
till it's "alright".
Say a prayer,
and ask your friends
to pray for you,
so prayers ascend!

Just hang on tight,
help will arrive...
it may seem "hopeless",
but it's "in God's time".

So hang in there!
He's watching too,
He knows your strength,
for he gave it to you.
So, say a prayer,
and hang on tight....
don't give up,
soon it will be alright!

Hang on to what God thinks about you...

Hi...

It doesn't matter what people say or think about you.
What's important is what God thinks of you.
When people call you a failure or say things to discourage you, don't let it affect you. You'll always meet people around you who do not take time to see your heart but will be quick to judge, condemn, lie, magnify your faults & fail to see the good in you.
So, Look up to God. Remember He loves you the way you are. He never gives up on you.Your help comes from the Lord.
Even when you fail & fall,if you cry out to Him with a sincere heart, He will lift you up, dust the dirt off you and will help you do better. He's still working on you. You are His treasured possession. He'll not condemn you when you fail and turn to Him for help. He'll look past your failures & sin at your repentant heart & help you stand & walk with a renewed strength & confidence.
Better hang on to what God thinks & says about you. If you have back-slidden, failed or fallen in your spiritual walk, just call out to Jesus, He'll be by your side to lift you up.
Let not the people who rejoice at your fall & failures bother you. God will take care of them! He will not allow you to be put to shame. He will contend with those who contend with you.
But choose not to look back at the sin you left behind. Desire to walk holy before God and work out your salvation with fear and trembling.
As we walk with God, He will fight for us.
🍀Psalm 40: 14 May all who seek to take my life, be put to shame and confusion; may all who desire my ruin  be turned back in disgrace.
🍀Psalm 35:1, Contend, O LORD,
with those who contend with me, fight against those who fight against me.
🍀Psalm 35: 26 May all who gloat over my distress be put to shame and confusion; may all who exalt themselves over me
be clothed with shame and disgrace.
You can't avoid people misjudge you & speak ill of you but sure can choose to let God lift you up & make you stand on higher ground. Then one day the world will see that you find favour with God & that God's well pleased with you.
You are valuable to God, when He sees you He sees the price He paid for you, HIS SON. So your value is not in who you are or what you own but who you belong to.
So today will you choose to hang on to what God thinks about you?
Have a blessed day.

As we walk this narrow path...

We will encounter different kinds of people as we walk this narrow path.
Some will encourage us, some discourage, some will love and some hate, some will help steady our faltering step and some mock our struggle.
Let this not discourage us!
Let us keep our eyes fixed on our Savior the Author and Finisher of our race! Let not what we hear and see around take us off track!
One day each of us have to stand before our Maker.
Let us faithfully serve the King!

No one is useless to God!

NO ONE IS USELESS TO GOD.
Feel your life is messed up beyond repair?
Give the broken pieces, the mangled lump of clay that you are to Jesus Christ our Lord. He is a Master Potter and a Restorer and Creator of masterpieces.
See what He will do with a fully surrendered vessel!
Feel you are deep down in the pit of sin and Jesus Christ will not look at you?
Try calling out His Name in faith.
He'll come, reach down and lift you up. For He looks past your sin at your Repentant heart that people may fail to see.
He will wash you clean of ALL your sin with His precious blood and cloth you with His righteousness and say.."Go and sin no more."
John 8:11 She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”
And when He forgives, He forgets!!
Hebrews 8:12 "For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more."
Hebrews 10:17 Then he adds: “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.”
What a God we serve!
The one who keeps reminding you of your forgiven past is the devil. He is the "Accuser of the bretheren."
Revelation 12:10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down"
Pay no heed to the enemy's whispers it's what God thinks about you that REALLY MATTERS!
Keep serving the King of Kings faithfully!

The power of 3 little words~Author: unknown

The Power of Three Little Words
Some of the most significant messages people deliver to one another often come in just three words. When spoken or conveyed, those statements have the power to forge new friendships, deepen old ones and restore relationships that have cooled. The following three word phrases can enrich every relationship:

I'll BE THERE - Being there for another person is the greatest gift we can give
When we are truly present for other people, important things happen to them and to us
We are renewed in love and friendship, we are restored emotionally and spiritually. 'Being there' is at the very, very core of civility.

I MISS YOU - Perhaps more marriages could be salvaged and strengthened if couples simply and sincerely said to each other, "I miss you" This powerful affirmation tells partners they are wanted, needed, desired and loved.Telling your kids, loved ones and friends, make them feel they are cared for.

I RESPECT YOU - Respect is another way of showing love Respect conveys the feeling that another person is a true equal. It is a powerful way to affirm the importance of a relationship.

MAYBE YOU'RE RIGHT - This phrase is highly effective in diffusing an argument and restoring frayed emotions. The flip side of "maybe you're right" is the humility of admitting "maybe I'm wrong"
PLEASE FORGIVE ME - Many broken relationships could be restored and healed if people would admit their mistakes and ask for forgiveness. All of us are vulnerable to faults, foibles and failures. A man should never be ashamed to own up to he has been in the wrong, which is by saying, in other words, that he is wiser today than he was yesterday.

I THANK YOU - Gratitude is an exquisite form of courtesy People who enjoy the companionship of good, close friends are those who don't take daily courtesies for granted. They are quick to thank their friends for their many expressions of kindness. On the other hand, people whose circle of friends is severely constricted often do not have the attitude of gratitude.
COUNT ON ME - "A friend is one who walks in when others walk out" ."Loyalty" is an essential ingredient for true friendship; it is the emotional glue that bonds people. Those who are rich in their relationships tend to be steady and true friends!!When troubles come, a good friend is there, indicating "you can count on me."

LET ME HELP - The best of friends see a need and try to fill it.When they spot a hurt they do what they can to heal it without being asked, they pitch in and help.

I UNDERSTAND YOU - People become closer and enjoy each other more if they feel the other person accepts and understands them. Letting others know in so many little ways that you understand him or her is one of the most powerful tools for healing your relationship
GO FOR IT - Some of your friends may be non-conformists, have unique projects and unusual hobbies.Support them in pursuing their interests. Rather than urging your loved ones to conform, encourage their uniqueness - everyone has dreams that no one else has.

I suppose the 3 little words that you were expecting to see have to be reserved for those who are special; that is..
I LOVE YOU.

It's better to give than receive...

Hi family and friends,
Praise the Lord!!
It is always better to give than to receive.

When we give people the best we have we bless them.
Let's today choose to give our time, love, talents and all that we can give to people around us.
Let's spend time with the lonely, share our blessings with those in need of it.
Let's love others with the love of Christ.
Let's love even people who treat us rude.
Christ.s love will help the lost to find Christ and change the hearts of the rebellious.
Let's 'give', 'give' and give'!!!
Have a blessed weekend,
YSIC,
Julia

"BETTER TO GIVE THAN TO RECEIVE"
(Something to think about...)
A young man, a student in one of our universities, was one day taking a walk with a professor, who was commonly called the student's friend, from his kindness to those who waited on his instructions.
As they went along, they saw lying in the path a pair of old shoes, which they supposed to belong to a poor man who was employed in a field close by, and who had nearly finished his day's work.

The student turned to the professor, saying: "Let us play the man a trick: we will hide his shoes, and conceal ourselves behind those bushes, and wait to see his perplexity when he cannot find them."

"My young friend," answered the professor, "we should never amuse ourselves at the expense of the poor. But you are rich, and may give yourself a much greater pleasure by means of this poor man. Put a coin in each shoe, and then we will hide ourselves and watch how this affects him."
The student did so and they both placed themselves behind the bushes close by. The poor man soon finished his work, and came across the field to the path where he had left his coat and shoes.

While putting on his coat he slipped his foot into one of his shoes, but feeling something hard, he stooped down to feel what it was, and found the coin. Astonishment and wonder were seen upon his countenance. He gazed upon the coin, turned it around, and looked at it again and again.
He then looked around him on all sides, but no person was to be seen. He now put the money into his pocket, and proceeded to put on the other shoe; but his surprise was doubled on finding the other coin.

His feelings overcame him; he fell upon his knees, looked up to heaven and uttered aloud a fervent thanksgiving in which he spoke of his wife, sick and helpless, and his children without bread, whom this timely bounty, from some unknown hand, would save from perishing.

The student stood there deeply affected, and his eyes filled with tears. "Now," said the professor, are you not much better pleased than if you had played your intended trick?"

The youth replied, "You have taught me a lesson which I will never forget. I feel now the truth of these words, which I never understood before: "It's more blessed to give than to receive."
" LIFE IS A MIRACLE "

Life is a miracle
Don't let it slip away,
Open your heart to others
Give of yourself each day.

See the beauty in everyone
Regardless of where they've been,
Some have a difficult journey
And really need a friend.

Share your gifts and talents
Listen with your heart.
Do the things you dream about
But don't have time to start.

Pick a bouquet of flowers
Show someone that you care,
Be gracious and forgiving
Life is never fair.

Hold on to your courage
You may need it down the road,
We all have a cross to bear
It could be a heavy load.

If you practice all these things
No matter where you roam,
You may find both sun and rain
But you'll never feel alone !

Perfect Love: Compiled

 A PERFECT LOVE POEM ♥

Before the very dawn of time,
Before the earth was round;
Before there was a sight to see,
Or what we know as sound...

God formed you then, within is His mind,
With expertise and care;
He planned each detail in advance,
He numbered every hair.
He picked your very temperament,
He planned your every day;
He knew exactly what you'd do
And just what you would say.
He chose you then to be His own.
To live with Him on high;
He wrote you on His very palms.
The apple of His eye.
He made you gifts to pleasure you,
To brighten up your eyes;
He made the earth, He made the sea,
He made the endless skies.
To bring you joy, HE made the birds,
To see you smile, the flowers;
To comfort you when things go wrong
He made the springtime showers.
He gave HIS angels a command
To guard in all you do,
Because you're precious in His sight
He did all this for you.
And when He saw you steeped in sin,
With love personified
He cloaked Himself in human flesh ,
Came down to earth, and died.
With His own blood He paid the price,
He washed your sins away;
With love so great it conquered death,
HE rose on the third day.
And now He sits upon His throne
In heaven above;
He's waiting there to hold you close,
And all because of Love!

John 3: 16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one

and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish
but have eternal life.
You Ask Why I Follow This Jesus?

You ask why I follow this Jesus?
Why I love Him the way I do?
When the world's turned away from His teachings
And the people who serve Him are few.

It's not the rewards I'm after
Or gifts that I hope to receive
It's the Presence that calls for commitment.
It's the Spirit I trust and believe.

The Lord doesn't shelter His faithful
Or spare them all suffering and pain,
Like everyone else I have burdens,
And walk through my share of rain.

Yet He gives me a plan and a purpose,
And that joy only Christians have known,
I never know what comes tomorrow,
But I do know I'm never alone...

It's the love always there when you need it;
It's the words that redeem and inspire,
It's the longing to ever be with Him
That burns in my heart like a fire.

So you ask why I love my Lord Jesus?
Well, friend, that's so easy to see,
But the one thing that fills me with wonder is
Why Jesus loves someone like me.

God made you special...

Hi family and friends..

Each of you are precious in God's sight...

You are created in His image.

¸¸.•*¨*•
Genesis 1:27 "So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them."
★God made you special.

You are an original, an individual, a masterpiece, one of a kind~
Designed to Glorify God as only as you can.
Celebrate that!

If Jesus Christ is your Savior...
You are the child of the Most High God, hand picked by Jesus.
He said

¸¸.•*¨*•
John 15:16"You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name."

He created you so that many hearts could be won for HIS Kingdom!

Be all that God's called you to be.

No one can do what you are called to do,

Keep serving the Lord faithfully.

You are a blessing.

He has good plans for each of you His children.
¸¸.•*¨*•☆Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Don't fear trials and difficult situations.
They are permitted by God sometimes to build you up and refine you.

¸¸.•*¨*•
Malachi 3:3 "He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; he will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver."
¸¸.•*¨*•Zechariah 13:9 "...I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on my name and I will answer them; I will say, 'They are my people,' and they will say, 'The LORD is our God.' "

Someone said..
"When you feel God is rubbing you against the rocks don't think you'll be rubbed down to dust.
It's just HIS way of polishing a gem..."
Stay precious..
