♥~A beautiful flower~Author Unknown

The park bench was deserted as I sat down to read
Beneath the long, straggly branches of
an old willow tree.
Disillusioned by life with good reason to frown,
For the world was intent keeping me down.
And if that weren't enough to ruin my day,
A young boy out of breath approached me,
all tired from play.
He stood right before me with his head tilted down
And said with great excitement, "Look what I found!"

In his hand was a flower, and what a pitiful sight,
With its petals all worn - not enough rain,
or too little light.
Wanting him to take his dead flower and go off to play,
I faked a small smile and then shifted away.
But instead of retreating he sat next to my side
And placed the flower to his nose
and declared with overacted surprise,
"It sure smells pretty and it's beautiful, too.
That's why I picked it; here, it's for you."

The weed before me was dying or dead.
Not vibrant of colors: orange, yellow or red.
But I knew I must take it, or he might never leave.
So I reached for the flower, and replied,
"Just what I need."
But instead of him placing the flower in my hand,
He held it mid-air without reason or plan.
It was then that I noticed for the very first time
That weed-toting boy could not see: he was blind.

I heard my voice quiver; tears shone in the sun
As I thanked him for picking the very best one.
You're welcome," he smiled, and then ran off to play,
Unaware of the impact he'd had on my day.
I sat there and wondered how he managed to see
A self-pitying woman beneath an old willow tree.
How did he know of my self-indulged plight?
Perhaps from his heart, he'd been blessed with true sight.

Through the eyes of a blind child, at last I could see
The problem was not with the world; the problem was me.
And for all of those times I myself had been blind,
I vowed to see the beauty in life,
and appreciate every second that's mine.
And then I held that wilted flower up to my nose
And breathed in the fragrance of a beautiful rose
And smiled as I watched that young boy, another weed in his hand,
About to change the life of an unsuspecting old man.

I am Blessed...

As iron sharpens iron, a friend sharpens a friend.

Proverbs 27:17 NLT

•..¸A true friend is one who'll stay by you when

many rise up against you,

..¸
They don't just appreciate you, they won't gossip

behind your back but will correct you when you

make a mistake, lift you up when you fall.

..¸
Today thank God for your true friends for they are

a blessing to you.

..¸
Making 100's of friends is not an achievement

miracle or a mile stone. In today's cyber world

friends are just a click away.

..¸

But it's a true blessing if you have just a couple of

true friends on earth, who'll stand by you through

thick & thin.

Be Blessed

Loyal Companion...

Sharing here a thought by Max Lucado(One of my favorite Authors)
QUOTE>One gets the impression that to John, Jesus was above all a loyal companion. Messiah? Yes. Son of God? Indeed. Miracle worker? That, too. But more than anything Jesus was a pal. Someone you could go camping with or bowling with or count the stars with…
Now what do you do with a friend? (Well, that’s rather simple too.) You stick by him.
Maybe that is why John is the only one of the twelve who was at the cross. He came to say good-bye. By his own admission he hadn’t quite put the pieces together yet. But that didn’t really matter. As far as he was concerned, his closest friend was in trouble and he came to help.
“Can you take care of my mother?”
Of course.
That’s what friends are for.

“A friend loves you all the time.”

I'm Sorry...

Two words we struggle to say: "I'm Sorry."

Family members (our spouse, kids, parents, siblings),loved ones, friends, are all God's gift to us.
No one is placed in our lives by mistake but it's God's grace & plan we are placed in certain families & meet people who bless us & who we can be a blessing to.
Let's not take them for granted but be a source of blessing to  them!
And be quick to say 'sorry' when we hurt others.
All this comes easy if God's love rules & reigns in our hearts.
We as humans sometimes find it so...difficult to love someone who is rude to us, forgive someone who repeatedly hurt us and say sorry when we hurt someone (our ego & pride stands in our way at times.). We need God's grace and help to do so.
The people in our lives are God's precious gift to us.
Be blessed..

God made you special...

Hi family and friends..

Each of you are precious in God's sight...

You are created in His image.

¸¸.•*¨*•
Genesis 1:27 "So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them."
★God made you special.

You are an original, an individual, a masterpiece, one of a kind~
Designed to Glorify God as only as you can.
Celebrate that!

If Jesus Christ is your Savior...
You are the child of the Most High God, hand picked by Jesus.
He said

¸¸.•*¨*•
John 15:16"You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name."

He created you so that many hearts could be won for HIS Kingdom!

Be all that God's called you to be.

No one can do what you are called to do,

Keep serving the Lord faithfully.

You are a blessing.

He has good plans for each of you His children.
¸¸.•*¨*•☆Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Don't fear trials and difficult situations.
They are permitted by God sometimes to build you up and refine you.

¸¸.•*¨*•
Malachi 3:3 "He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; he will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver."
¸¸.•*¨*•Zechariah 13:9 "...I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on my name and I will answer them; I will say, 'They are my people,' and they will say, 'The LORD is our God.' "

Someone said..
"When you feel God is rubbing you against the rocks don't think you'll be rubbed down to dust.
It's just HIS way of polishing a gem..."
Stay precious..

Broken hearted? Lost? Hopeless? Wandered away?

Nobody is beyond God's reach. He finds the lost, mends a broken heart, calls back those who wander away, waits for the prodigal.
"The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18)
✿God's Word says..
A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out. In faithfulness he will bring forth justice.
He bring Healing to all who are wounded and hurt physically, spiritually, emotionally.
Jeremiah 33:6 “‘Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security."
Are you at the verge of giving up?
You think it's all over?
Just hold on, because God's about to perfect all that consumes you.
So if you think all is over..just remember..there's still hope. Abba Father's on the throne & you can approach HIS throne of grace with your petitions, in the NAME OF JESUS/YESHUA HE will listen to you.
Can go to Him as you are, it is His job to fix, mend, heal, restore, love, forgive and more!
God Bless you,
Julia
