What makes a house a home...?

Psalm 127:1
Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.

It's said: Quote>>It takes hands to build a house, but only hearts can build a home.<<Unquote
True!
A house may be built by the best architect, have many rooms, can have the best furniture, good interiors or it may just be a little hut but if love, understanding, communication, acceptance, forgiveness, faith , hope, trust, inspiration, comfort is not present within it's walls in midst of all the ups and downs, joys and sorrow, abundance and lack.....it cannot really be a home!
The Lord Blesses the home of the Righteous.

If we need to blossom like a rose...

Hi Family and friends....
Read this beautiful quote once...
"If you desire to Blossom like a rose in a garden. You have to learn the art of adjusting with the thorns."
How true this is, each of us desire to blossom like the rose but find it difficult to face hard and tough situations in life.
Even Our Lord Jesus refines us like Silver.

PSALM 66:10
"For you, O God, tested us; you refined us like silver."
When God allows us to pass through testing times we should know we'll come out stronger and better.
ISAIAH 48:10,
"See, I have refined you, though not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction."

Daniel 11: 35,
"Some of the wise will stumble, so that they may be refined, purified and made spotless until the time of the end, for it will still come at the appointed time.
Malachi 3:3,
"He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; he will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver."
1 Peter 1:7
These have come so that your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.
Let's learn to face the trials of life that seem to be like thorns. Then we too will blossom like a beautiful rose.
We need to learn to cope with pain, rejection, misunderstanding, loss, death etc.
When we faithfully endure, in due season God will help us bloom.
Stay Blessed,
May Grace and Peace of our Lord Jesus be Multiplied on each of you.
Good Night
YSIC,
Julia

Marriage....

God is the beginner of marriage, children, family and home.

Marriage sure is not a life long date, nor bringing up kids all fun. But its a joy to see kids grow, its satisfying to see relationship with kids and spouse be strengthened through years. Looking back we can thank God not just for good times but also for the storms and thorns because it's the tough times that has made us stronger and so it is worth it all. And God makes everything work for our best and binds us with cords of love that cannot be broken!
Praise the Lord!

Our God is the Father of the fatherless and Defender of widows...

He is our Everlasting Father....
Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called

Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Our God's the Father of the fatherless and is concerned for them!
He is also the Defender of widows!
Psalm 68:5
A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.
 Deuteronomy 10:18
He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow,
 Psalm 146:9
The Lord watches over the foreigner and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.
 Deuteronomy 24:17
Do not deprive the foreigner or the fatherless of justice, or take the cloak of the widow as a pledge.
 Job 29:12
because I rescued the poor who cried for help, and the fatherless who had none to assist them.

Fathers are special...

Fathers and children share a special bond.....
Abba Father...
bless all the dads..today and always..
Fill their hearts with Your love....
In Jesus Name
Amen

Enjoy the roses outside your window

Quote>"One of the most tragic things about human nature is that all of us tend to put off living. We are all dreaming of some magical rose garden over the horizon--instead of enjoying the roses that are blooming outside our windows today." <Dale Carnegie.
Let's not fail to see a flower bloom just outside our window, listen to the birds sing and appreciate the beauty and blessings God sends our way daily. It is good to rest a while in between our busy life and be refreshed just resting or looking at God's creation or just sitting with God talking nothing.
Be blessed..
