Life is a fast Runner

Psalm 39:4, " Lord remind me how brief my time on earth will be, remind me my days are numbered & my life is fleeing away."
Hi.....
This above scripture always reminds me, how short our life is and how we need to treasure every moment of it.
Life is a fast runner it will be gone soon.
So wanted to pen this down.
Let's not take people in our lives for granted.
Let's take time to aappreciate and love them.
We need to treasure our family, loved ones and friends, who knows today may be our last day on earth.
Kids are gifts from God, let's invest our best in them when they are around, so that they'll remember it all their life.
Let's love them unconditionally.
Kids to need to love and honor their parents and elders and not be indifferent to their love and concern.
We need to give the best to our loved ones & extended family members..remember their birthdays, anniversaries, visit them when they are sick.
Today let us refresh others with a smile, a loving word, a whispered prayer, a word of encouragement to someone, or a warm hug.It may be a small act for us but valuable to the one who receives.
Even as we refresh someone God will refresh us!!Let's spread the love of God around, even as we give God will pour more and more of HIS love within us.
PROVERBS 11:25," A generous man will prosper . He who refreshes others will himself be refreshed."
If we have friends who have blessed our life, let's treasure them no matter what because they are God's gift to us!
You see we have to learn to treasure every relationships in our lives, with our parents, our spouse, our kids, our brothers & sisters (our own & spiritual) & friends .
For God's given these relationships on earth to bring joy and happiness and help us in this short life on earth. I have learnt that the family God put me in, my parents, my 2 sisters are God's choice for me and so treasured them.
Later as I grew up I met a lot of people in my life, some just were people who passed by, who touched my life for a moment & moved away.
But there is my hubby, kids, extended family and dear friends who have entered my world in a special way to stay in my life and heart always.
I value each of them for the way they've touched my life. Each of them have a a part in making me a better individual.
It's not been easy, all relationships have had their times of trouble but I wouldn't want to loose any of the people in my life...NO MATTER WHAT!!!!
Let's not give up on people we love, though there will come testing and troubled times.
Let's hold on, God will restore all troubled and broken relationship. HE IS A GOD OF RESTORATION!!!
Also let's love and honor men and women of God who sow spiritual blessings in our life.
Let's take time to thank our Pastors, spiritual mentors.
This earth is our temporary residence, let's hold on lightly to the things of the world, love the people God gave us with all our heart, give the best in the job we do to earn our living.
Let people of God in business sell quality products and see to customer satisfaction.
We should be people of credibility.
Our mission to win souls for JESUS should always be our 1st priority on earth and of course we need to take time out to read God's word, meditate on it and  keep praying at all times.
Finally...
Someone said..."The cultured give and forgive,
The uncultured get and forget".

Let's always be willing to 'give' and 'forgive'.
Let's be ever willing to share our blessings, time & all that we can give to those in need.
Sometimes it's just a 'listening ear' someone needs, are we willing to give a few of our precious moments to listen to them?
Let's not hoard blessings nor harbor un forgiveness.
Be Blessed
Julia

Life is short...this moment matters.

Hi Family and friends...

Psalm 39:4, " Lord remind me how brief my time on earth will be, remind me my days are numbered & my life is fleeing away."
This scripture always reminds me, how short our life is and how we need to treasure every moment of it.
Life is a fast runner it will be gone soon.
Enjoy and treasure every moment...
Give it your best shot in all you do.
God Bless each of you,
YSIC,
Julia

This Moment Matters.
Precious moment, help me to not waste
you by attacking the great big world,
searching for all answers, for some solutions...
Help me to not weigh you down
with a negative thought,
a thoughtless word or action...

Help me remember that how well I use you
will determine my subsequent
moments, my hours, my days...
Help me remember that you are fleeting,
rushing, soon gone into eternity and
could take my existence with you...

So help me grasp you,
relish you, savor the inner peace
you afford me....
Help me use you to begin afresh,
if no more than to take a quick glimpse
into how I might use this rare opportunity...

To convince myself that I want to
live, live, live, and possibly,
feel another glorious moment like you..

A NEW WANT AD? SOULMATE WANTED?~By Bro Owen

"Is there such a thing as soul mates?

YOU TELL ME!
Does God have one specific person for you to marry?"
The Bible does not indicate that there is a specific spouse picked out for each person. It is impossible for us to fully understand the ways of God.
We know that He knows us before we are even born.
“I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my spokesman to the world” (Jeremiah 1:5).
He knows what choices we are going to make,
and knows whether we will turn to Him or not (Romans 8:29-30).
He knows the number of hairs on our heads (Matthew 10:30).
If we give ourselves to God, and seek His guidance, He promises to direct us.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge him and he shall direct your paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6).

People often make choices that are against the will of God – Christians and non-Christians alike.

Therefore if God had planned for us to be with one person only, and we miss the chance, then our life's plan would be ruined.
But the Bible says that even the most “foolish” plan of God's is far wiser than the wisest plan a human could devise (1Corinthians 1:25), which means His plan cannot be put off track.
When we decide to make the choice to follow God, I believe He will put in our path the right people and the right situations that will mold us into the people that He wants us to be.
Even if a Christian marries a non-Christian, God has the power to work miracles and change that person's life.
We, as humans, get ourselves into the messiest positions, but God in His infinite wisdom and grace can dig us out if we seek Him.

Although nowadays almost everyone marries, it is not in God's will for everyone to marry.
Paul said,
“I wish everyone could get along without marrying, just as I do. But we are not all the same. God gives some the gift of marriage, and to others he gives the gift of singleness” (1 Corinthians 7:7).

Neither one of these choices is better than another. Obviously God would not intend for everyone to be single, otherwise that would mean He intended for the earth's population to cease.
And He does not want everyone to be married because some people simply do better on their own. We all serve God in different ways. Either way, God wants to be the center of our lives.

If we seek His direction He will lead us the way He wants us to go and bless our lives to do His work

BE BLESSED,

BROTHER OWEN

Love and Forgive anyways...

Sometimes it is hard to smile and be OK when people people are rude to us....
But let's love them anyways.
Let rude people not steal our joy but may the 'joy of the Lord' be our strength.

Sometimes it is difficult when people refuse to forgive or accept forgiveness,
But may God help us forgive and seek forgiveness anyways.

Life is not always easy but in midst of all the hard and trying times we need God's grace and guidance every step of the way.
May Christ's love always rule and reign in our hearts.
May He help us to be humble and loving.
May we be the Light God's called us to be.
Jesus also said...
" If you forgive others for the wrongs they do to you, your Father in heaven will forgive you.But if you don't forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins."(Matthew 6:14-15)
" Be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful." (Luke 6:36)
People are made to be loved but in today's world, people are being used and things are being loved.
Let's change that today and remember that a little love goes a long way.
So let's choose to love even those who treat us bad.
It is okay if others fail to see our hearts, our concern  or love.
Let us still choose to love, be kind and all that God wants us to be!
Let's remember..
"Revenge is the raging fire that consumes the arsonist." (MaxLucado)
‎1 John 4:"19 We love because he first loved us.
20 If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. 21And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.""

"Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you."
 ( Matthew 5:43-44 NIV)
" Christ's Heart teaches us to weave the thread of forgiveness into the very fabric of our lives."

One day, I was asked if I would forgive
By someone who had wounded my very soul.
The hurtful actions had shattered my heart
In the form of deceit and lies that were told.

My anger lashed out with fervor and force
To protect the wounds of ego and pride.
I could not contain the hurt I felt,
Nor the mournful sorrow I suffered inside.

How can I forgive, am I expected to forget
These appalling deeds directed at me?
And, if I forgive, will it happen again?
Just how vulnerable must I be?

I could not sleep, I could not eat.
I carried this anger bold and brave.
"I had been wronged; had been deceived."
The anger validation had all been saved.

But, I soon grew tired and weary of heart,
With the anger becoming a heavy load.
I prayed to God and humbly said,
"I am hurting; please help me down this road."

He said, "You must forgive . . ."
"Me, forgive? But it was I who was wronged!"
"But my child, you are the burdened one -
While the other stays healthy and strong."

"Forgiveness is for you, and you alone,
For you are the one carrying the load.
When you forgive, your burden will lift
And you will again travel light upon the road."

" Forgiveness does not change the past,
but it does enlarge the future."

True Friendships (Posted by Michae)

~TRUE FRIENDSHIPS~
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds…—Hebrews 10:24-25

As we read Paul’s letters in the New Testament, we learn a lot about how to build real friendships and godly relationships.
To the Thessalonian believers, he writes, "Encourage one another and build each other up."
To the Colossian church:
"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom…"
As he addresses the Ephesians, he writes "Be kind and compassionate to one another..."
The kind of relationships God calls us to develop includes extending
"kindness with a backbone."
True kindness in friendship means we would not dream of looking the other way while a precious friend heads down a path guaranteed to cause him or her heartache.
True kindness means being willing to gently ask the "hard question."
True kindness prays diligently for a friend’s heart-change.
True kindness risks being misunderstood, and sacrifices being "nice" for being loving.
A real friend models his or her kindness after God Himself:
It’s the kindness of God that leads to repentance (Romans 2:4).
Real friends humbly evaluate their friendships on the basis of whether their actions and words help their friends move closer toward the Lord Jesus.
Listen, according to Scripture, friends don’t let friends drive over cliffs!

The Broken Jar...Something to think about...

" JARS OF CLAY "
(Something to think about...)
(Author Unknown)
A water bearer in India had two large pots, each hung on each end of a pole which he carried across his neck. One of the pots had a crack in it, and while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water at the end of the long walk from the stream to the master's house, the cracked pot arrived only half full. For a full two years this went on daily, with the bearer delivering only one and a half pots full of water in his master's house. Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments, perfect to the end for which it was made. But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it was able to accomplish only half of what it had been made to do.

After two years of what it perceived to be a bitter failure, it spoke to the water bearer one day by the stream. "I am ashamed of myself, and I want to apologize to you." "Why?" asked the bearer. "What are you ashamed of?" "I have been able, for these past two years, to deliver only half my load because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your master's house. Because of my flaws, you have to do all of this work, and you don't get full value from your efforts," the pot said.

The water bearer felt sorry for the old cracked pot, and in his compassion he said, "As we return to the master's house, I want you to notice the beautiful flowers along the path."

Indeed, as they went up the hill, the old cracked pot took notice of the sun warming the beautiful wild flowers on the side of the path, and this cheered it some. But at the end of the trail, it still felt bad because it had leaked out half its load, and so again it apologized to the bearer for its failure.

The bearer said to the pot, "Did you notice that there were flowers only on your side of your path, but not on the other pot's side? That's because I have always known about your flaw, and I took advantage of it. I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back from the stream, you've watered them. For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate my master's table.
Without you being just the way you are, he would not have this beauty to grace his house."

Each of us has our own unique flaws. We are all cracked pots. But if we will allow it, the Lord will use our flaws to grace His Father's table. In God's great economy, nothing goes to waste.

So as we seek ways to minister together, and as God calls you to the tasks He has appointed for you, don't be afraid of your flaws.
Acknowledge them, and allow Him to take advantage of them, and you, too, can be the cause of beauty in His pathway.

Go out boldly, knowing that in our weakness we find His strength, and that "In Him every one of God's promises is a Yes".

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."( Matthew 5:3 NIV)

" A LEGACY Of LOVE "
(Unknown)
If someone came to you
And said they needed help
Would you stop and help them?
Or say "I don't have time"?

If someone came to you, thinking suicide
Would you tell them how much God loves them?
Or would you pass them by?

If someone came to you, with cuts on their arms
Would you ignore their pain?
Or explain to them that Jesus can heal their scars?

People out there are lonely
They don't know what to believe
They've been hurt, abused and broken
They need friends like you and me.

Someone who will accept them, just the way they are
Someone who won't reject them, because of all their scars.

Jesus said to be like Him, and follow in His path
He'd be the outcast's friend
If someone said they needed Him, He wouldn't even ask.
He'd welcome them with open arms
And accept and love them as they are.

So next time someone comes to you
And says that no one cares
Explain to them that God is real,
Explain to them He's there.

Because He loves you unconditionally
He'll never leave your side
He'll be there catching every tear, every time you cry...
