God made you special...

Hi family and friends..

Each of you are precious in God's sight...

You are created in His image.

¸¸.•*¨*•
Genesis 1:27 "So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them."
★God made you special.

You are an original, an individual, a masterpiece, one of a kind~
Designed to Glorify God as only as you can.
Celebrate that!

If Jesus Christ is your Savior...
You are the child of the Most High God, hand picked by Jesus.
He said

¸¸.•*¨*•
John 15:16"You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name."

He created you so that many hearts could be won for HIS Kingdom!

Be all that God's called you to be.

No one can do what you are called to do,

Keep serving the Lord faithfully.

You are a blessing.

He has good plans for each of you His children.
¸¸.•*¨*•☆Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Don't fear trials and difficult situations.
They are permitted by God sometimes to build you up and refine you.

¸¸.•*¨*•
Malachi 3:3 "He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; he will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver."
¸¸.•*¨*•Zechariah 13:9 "...I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on my name and I will answer them; I will say, 'They are my people,' and they will say, 'The LORD is our God.' "

Someone said..
"When you feel God is rubbing you against the rocks don't think you'll be rubbed down to dust.
It's just HIS way of polishing a gem..."
Stay precious..

Broken hearted? Lost? Hopeless? Wandered away?

Nobody is beyond God's reach. He finds the lost, mends a broken heart, calls back those who wander away, waits for the prodigal.
"The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18)
✿God's Word says..
A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out. In faithfulness he will bring forth justice.
He bring Healing to all who are wounded and hurt physically, spiritually, emotionally.
Jeremiah 33:6 “‘Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security."
Are you at the verge of giving up?
You think it's all over?
Just hold on, because God's about to perfect all that consumes you.
So if you think all is over..just remember..there's still hope. Abba Father's on the throne & you can approach HIS throne of grace with your petitions, in the NAME OF JESUS/YESHUA HE will listen to you.
Can go to Him as you are, it is His job to fix, mend, heal, restore, love, forgive and more!
God Bless you,
Julia

Importance of "Rest"

Hi...
In this busy life "Rest" has become a rare commodity!
Everyday we find there are so many jobs to do. No matter who we are, a professional, home maker, student, the chores seem endless. So many are pushing themselves beyond their limit to be successful in studies and profession that they have forgotten to rest and really enjoy life. They work day and night to be successful and forget to even have proper meals on time. God does want His people to work and not be lazy but be successful and the "Head". But He does not want them to run in circles with no rest. He does not want to see His children strive hard and stress themselves out by working 7 days a week. He wants us to "Rest" one day in a week. He established one day each week as a day for rest (Genesis 2:2-3; Exodus 20:8-11).
"Rest" means, 1) Cease work or movement in order to relax, refresh oneself, or recover strength. 2) An instance or period of relaxing or ceasing to engage in strenuous or stressful activity.
God Himself found the need to rest after a busy 6 days of Creation work.
Genesis 2:2 "By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. "

He knew the importance of rest and made it mandatory for His people and even their animals. He knew this rest was needed once a week after a hectic 6 days of work, to refresh the body, heart and mind for He is concerned about our over all well being.
Exodus 23:12 “Six days do your work, but on the seventh day do not work, so that your ox and your donkey may rest, and so that the slave born in your household and the foreigner living among you may be refreshed."
The Bible says in
Psalm 127:2, "In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat—for he grants sleep to[a] those he loves."
But in midst of all the running around, we need to stop everything once in a while and take a break one day in a week to just "Rest"
Even in midst of our work we can stop awhile to sit back, take a deep breath and just do something to relax ourselves.  May be we can just stretch ourselves a bit, or sit back and sip a hot cup of coffee.
We can listen to some good music or just close your eyes a while.
If we have a lovely view outside our window, we can sit by a while and look at the flowers, watch the birds, enjoy the beauty around us, watch the kids laugh and play.
Relaxing a bit sure helps to ease the work pressure and helps us get back to work with fresh energy.
Life is precious and short, let's take time amidst our busy schedule to relax a bit and be refreshed.
Let us take time to enjoy God's gift of time, once in a while or you'll just miss the joy it brings.
When was the last time you..
~Watched the sunrise or sunset from the sea shore or just from your window.
~Admired the colorful beauty of the flowers...inhaled its fragrance.
~just watched the clouds pass by the sky...or get lost in the beauty of a clear night sky with all the stars adorning it!
~Watched the birds build their nests...or just see them fly.
When was it you last...
~went for an outing or picnic with family or friends,
~Went on a vacation ..
~Spent quality time playing with kids or just talking to them getting to know what going on in their life.
Jesus Christ our Lord urged His disciples to rest when He saw they were nat even taking time to eat they food.

Mark 6:31"Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he (Jesus) said to them, "Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest."
How many of us fail to eat our meals on time because we are too busy?
It's time to stop and rest!
May Yeshua's presence refresh your body, mind and heart and make life worth living!
Deuteronomy 33:12

About Benjamin he said: "Let the beloved of the LORD rest secure in him, for he shields him all day long, and the one the LORD loves rests between his shoulders."

Taking time to reach out....( Annie's Memories...)‏

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Hi ....
Everyday we hear of so many tragic deaths, passing away of loved ones and wonder how life flutters away.
So many who were there yesterday are not there to see this day.
But the one who dies in Christ has the blessed assurance of eternal life and a home beyond the sky.
Do our loved ones know JESUS/YESHUA?? What have we done to share God's love with them.
Let's do all we can to share God's love with other's around. Let's not put off for tomorrow what we can do today. Let's pray for the lost souls we know, TODAY.
Tomorrow may be too late.
Yesterday has gone, tomorrow may never be ours but 'Today' is God's gift to us.
LETS DO ALL WE CAN TO SPREAD SOME LOVE, TO REACH OUT & TO SHOW PEOPLE THE RIGHT WAY!!!
We sometimes get so.....caught up in our daily activities that we fail to see and truly appreciate the people in our lives.
Let's not take them for granted. Let's make our parents, spouse and kids feel they are special.
Let's love them and give them our best, for tomorrow is not ours as yet.
Let's take time to pray together as family before the kids go to school or before we go out for the day for it's not guaranteed that we'll see each other in the evening.
Let's remember to value our friends and loved ones who are part of our life and leave them with good words so that we are fondly remembered.
I had this friend called Annie in college. She was my best friend during the 4 years I was in college.
After these 4 years I somehow lost touch with her and the next time I heard of her was around 10 years back. I was so shocked to hear from a common friend that Annie had died in a Bus accident a couple of years after she got married and her body was taken home in so many
pieces in a sack bag.
She was a hostelite when in college and I still remember how she use to wait for me everyday and shared all her joys, hurts!
She used to see me as her sounding board and also trusted me and shared her feelings with me.
She came from a troubled family and had never felt love at home. She was sent away to live in the hostel and study even as a kid.
I had to counsel her so often as she carried a lot of pain and hurt.
We've cried together, laughed together, we also had our share of misunderstandings.
When we had some misunderstanding, she was the one who used to reach out as she didn't want to loose this friendship we shared.
But 3 days before our final day in college (we had finished our graduation and were to part ways for good) we had an argument about something and I got mad at her.
(The sad thing is at that time both of us did not know JESUS CHRIST as our personal Savior, we were just name sake Christians.).
The 2nd last day when I went to college I passed around my autograph book to my class-mates to write a note for me...
This is what Ann wrote to me,
" What happened to our friendship Julie?? After all I am your Ann, why can't we forgive & forget everything. Please dear friend if at all I have hurt you by words or deeds please forgive me. Today I felt so...sad about our behavior. You were a nice friend & councilor too (still are). Cheer up Julie, only one more day. I'm sad and sorry about that fight. Wish you the best. "Yours Ann.
But I was really upset I didn't talk to her that day.
The next day was our last day...she came to me and said sorry again(I still remember the sad look on her face and tears filled eyes) we did hug and make up but had just a little time to talk. That's the last I seen her.
We somehow lost touch after that...
(how I wish I had kept in touch!!)
Today she's no more. That last note she wrote to me is the only thing I have with me.
When I heard she was dead...it broke my heart...you know the first thought that crossed my mind was whether she had given her heart to Jesus!
During our college days we both didn't know the Lord personally even though we were from Christian families.
But I wasn't sure if she got to know JESUS personally as her Savior later on. I just hope the Lord found her as He found me and I'll see her someday in Abba Father's home!
Still remember her.
Just 2 weeks back I was showing the note Ann wrote in my Autograph to my daughter and couldn't contain my tears and my daughter cried with me....
That made me think that we should never give up praying for friends and loved one who don't know Jesus. I would want to see Annie in Heaven I can only hope she was saved.
True Friends are God's gift to us let's treasure them and also keep praying for friends who are lost and still wandering....without knowing the one who said....
Let's not miss an opportunity to show the people in our lives how special they are and how much we love them.
Let's be willing to forgive when people hurt us and also be ready to say 'sorry' when we upset them. Let pride for make us too hard hearted.
So today let's thank God for all the people in our lives and value these treasured relationships.
Today let's take time to tell them we care.
Let's do all we can to share about God's love to those who are lost.
Too often...
Too often we don't realize
What we have until it is gone.
Too often we wait too late to say
"I'm sorry - I was wrong."

Sometimes it seems we hurt the ones
We hold dearest to our hearts;
And we allow foolish things
To tear our lives apart.

Far too many times we let
Unimportant things into our minds;
And then it's usually too late
To see what made us blind.

So be sure that you let people know
How much they mean to you.
Take the time to say the words
Before your time is through.

Be sure that you appreciate
Everything you've got;
And be thankful for the little things
in life that mean a lot.

(unknown)
One lesson I learnt long back....
All things and all people we meet are for a Reason,
Elohiym God has place them in their Season,
and they will have a everlasting effect in our life.
We need to Stand strong, and do not be moved!
Because...
~~Things will change,
~~People will change, (even friends who promise to stay by our side will walk away when troubles come)
~~This world around us will change,
~~But Elohiym God WILL NEVER EVER change!
~~He remains the same forevermore!
Have a Blessed day....

For 4 years I was with her in college & after that did keep in touch with her through mails.
But after I got married & moved out of the state I grew up in, I lost touch with Annie.
I used to wonder how she was but no way to contact her as she too had married & moved away & I did not know where.
A Few years back I was so shocked to hear from a common friend that Annie had died in a Bus accident & her body was taken home in so many pieces.

My warm memories of you
will be with me all the days of my life,
and I will cherish every one of them.
I'll always remember your smile,
and the sadness you carried in your heart.
You smiled & covered up the pain you carried.
I'll remember the blessing you were to me..
I can't let the memories of our friendship go,
I remember even our small fights...
I often wonder if you knew JESUS as your Saviour.
And hope I'll see you someday on heaven's shore.

All that remains of some relationships on earth are memories.
These memories I so...treasure always.
People we love & care for are there today & gone tomorrow...
But their memories never fade.
It's not an achievement to make 100's of friends,
But it's a blessing to have one true, best friend who'll stay with you when 100's walk away.
Thoughts of Annie have been in my mind a lot these last few days and I penned this blog...
God Bless ,
Julia
