Children are a heritage

Psalm 127:3
Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD,The fruit of the womb is a reward.
Deuteronomy 6:7
You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.

Children learn a lot from us..pray they will glean a lot of good things from us...May....we be all that our Lord wants us to be.
Through the ups and downs of life, through our victories and failures, may the Lord bind our families with cords of love that cannot be broken..
Be Blessed..

My hearts prayer..
~Author unknown~
(But it's my hearts prayer too..)
Abba Father,...
٠•●There are times Lord when there is so much in me. So many things that I can't put into words, I only feel them, I know you feel them too.
٠•● I know in those times when no one seems to understand me Lord, or get me, that you do. My heart longs for that feeling that spreads through me when you come to me.
٠•● When a heartfelt whisper brings about Your Presence and all the troubles and sorrows of this world fade.
There are so many that have yet to experience this feeling, this peace.
٠•● Lord, I pray to be a vessel used by you to be able to show them how to find You.
٠•● Let my light shine so brightly and my prayers be fervent to you for the lost, for the dying , for those that so need to find their way to You.
٠•● Use me Lord in the most magnificent or the tiniest of ways to further your kingdom on earth.
٠•● Let my words be yours and my voice be yours ringing out in your truth, Peel away the layers of pain that keep me bound to what hurts me and let me be free so that I can sing of your glory to be found once I've gotten completely out of Your way and allow You to live in me. ٠•●♥Keep this hunger fed by your Word and my thirst quenched by the truth of you in my life.
٠•● Lord stay close to me and hold me through the rough times and rejoice and dance with me through the good times as we grow closer through a relationship where both of us offer to the other just want we want and need, each other.
٠•● Lord help me to keep your spirit alive and breathing in me, to stoke the embers into flames and to reach out with that spirit inside me to love in the way that you would want of me.  ٠•● Make me more like You, Lord. Take all the pieces that are broken and do with them as you will to make me whole in your name so that I can shout to the hills of your glory.
٠•● Help me see that in my praise and worship of you, in my reaching out to others, I get past me. It's You I seek and You I need, it's You I cry out for through the tears and You that comes when I call.
٠•● You're always there, always. No matter what I go through or too, you've gone before me. You made a way, You are the way.
٠•● Help me to love me. To know that I am loveable and loved and that the greatest love I will ever know I already have, it's in You. Help me cloak myself in that love and heal in that love and hold onto that love with everything in me.
٠•● Help me breathe in the goodness of you and the truth of you and to reflect and give back both to others. Let not my brokenness be in vain, but used as a way to bring to You all the glory.
That's my hearts prayer Lord.
In Jesus Name Amen

God restores relationships

Satan's trying hard to destroy and divide families and turning the hearts of children away from their parents and destroy their heritage.
But our God binds, heals and restores. He wants children to love, honor and obey their parents.
He is waiting to restore this beautiful Parent-child relationship.
God's in the restoration business because He came to give life in abundance.
When God takes over broken homes He rebuilds it beautifully!
Praise God!

Malachi 4: 5 "See, I will send you the prophet Elijah before that great and dreadful day of the LORD comes. 6 He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers; or else I will come and strike the land with a curse."God's word always taught us to honor our parents.
Deuteronomy 5:16 "Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and that it may go well with you in the land the LORD your God is giving you.
Be Blessed..

Children are quick to learn

Children are quick to learn. The things they hear being taught as a child remain in their heart.
Sowing seeds from the Word of God when young will yield good fruits!!
Even if they go astray the Holy Spirit brings it to their remembrance and prodigals return...

Proverbs 1: 8 Listen, my son, to your father's instruction
and do not forsake your mother's teaching. 9 They will be a garland to grace your head
and a chain to adorn your neck.

Deuteronomy 4:9
Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them slip from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them.

  Deuteronomy 11:19
Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up —

A Mother's Garden ~By: Connie Faust

*•..¸A Mother's Garden*•..¸

A tired young mother knelt down by her bed
at the end of a stress-filled day
Dear God, I need help and direction from You
to bring up my children Your way
She took her dusty Bible down from the shelf
and wearily started to read
but she drifted to sleep and started to dream
of a garden, ready for seed

She heard a sweet voice speaking loud and clear
My grace is sufficient for you
Just listen to the words I am speaking
whatever I say to you - do
The heart of each child is a garden
and it needs to be tended with care
I will give you all that you require
if you water your own heart with prayer
Warm nurture and firm admonition
are both needed to balance the soil
Come often to Me for instruction and strength
as in their hearts' garden you toil

The next day, she started preparing the ground;
she planned it with tender care
She wanted only the finest of plants
to grow in her garden there
She quickly planted some seeds of kindness
next to her rows of sweet peace
then gentleness and goodness side-by-side
she planted down on her knees
Slow-growing patience, self-control and joy
were all dropped in, one-by-one
When she added true faithfulness and love
she thought all her hard work was done

Suddenly weeds appeared in the garden,
just when her seeds began to sprout
so she carefully wielded the tool of faith
and dug the harmful weeds out
Then she nurtured and watered the seedlings
with the thirst-quenching Word of God
She staked her young plants with hand-woven cords
as they struggled to break through the sod
Just as her Lord had promised that night
she never was left all alone
He showed her the way and He guided her hand
as each tiny seed was sown

At last it was time for the harvest
the mother had given her best
The hearts of her children were fruitful for God
and she was eternally blessed

Fathers are special....
"Train up a child in the way he should go:and when he is old, he will not
depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6)

If ye then, being evil, know how
to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father
who is in Heaven give good things to them that ask him?

( Matthew 7:11)
Fathers do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord. (Ephesians 6:4)
