Set priorities right! ♥

🌾There was a time, landline united the family.
🌾Today with a mobile in every hand it's turned family members strangers under the same roof!
🌾This world has so many things to keep our attention away from God and family and we get carried away so easily.
🌾There are games on the mobile that keeps many looking at their mobile for hours and they fail to hear the sounds around.
🌾The new gadgets are to help us ease our work and time  but still it ends up robbing our time. We sit staring at our mobiles, TV that we miss see the pain, hear the laughter of a loved one in the home.
🌾We have endless online conversations with friends online (many who we haven't really seen or know) but no time to talk to God, read His Word, find out what is happening in the home and in our loved one's life!
🏵🌿Let us keep priorities right.
🌾This life is God's gift, how often do we stop by to talk to Him, thank Him?
🌾Do we take time to sit with family, talk, pray together?
🌾God wants us to work from a place of rest, enjoy time with family and real friends, go out for holidays and be refreshed!.
🌾God has graciously added moments, let us value it and not waste it!
David writes, "His Praise shall continuously be on my lips."
Praise Him at all times for all things!
🌾On the final hour when we stand before God, so many things we did to kill time, gratify us will mean nothing.
🌾What if we do not wake up to see another day?
Let us set things right and live a life that pleases God and give time for family!
God bless,
Julia 🌸🍃

Life a fast runner...

🌷Life a fast runner, our next breath not guaranteed! Tomorrow we may just be a memory.
🌷Let us not put off for tomorrow what we need to do today.
🌿A job not done,
🌿putting off visit to see an ailing loved one,
🌿a missed call form someone on the edge we did not call back or failed checking on a loved one,
🌿 a prayer not whispered,
🌿a quote or application not sent out may cost us or someone a lot.
🌷A job undone, a mail/note not send, a call not made, may cost us a deal, a job, a miracle, a loved one or just anything important!
🌷Opportunities sure always don't wait for us...
No wonder God's Word says..
🌿🌸 Hebrews 3:15 “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion.”🌿🌸
🌷YESTERDAY GONE, TOMORROW IS NOT HERE ALL WE HAVE IS THIS MOMENT!
Good Night,

Train up a child

Training up kids take effort but results rewarding!
God's Word says in
🌿🌺 Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it."
🌷Training up sure takes a lot of effort and prayers. It is not that if we train them up in the right path, they will never leave it or stray away from it. But when we fill their heart with the right stuff, the Word of God, sound doctrine, good and wise advice, we can pray they will remember it and get back on track if they stay away.
🌷As Godly parents we can prepare the soil, sow the seed and pray God will grow the seed. We can show them, teach them but cannot force them.
🌷May our children be taught to value their family and time spend with family from when they are small.
🌷 May our children be taught to respect elders at home so that they will respect elders outside. 🌿🌺Leviticus 19:32 ‘You shall rise before the gray headed and honor the presence of an old man, and fear your God: I am the Lord.
🌷May our children not be known for the degrees they hold or for the high profile job they are in but may they be known for their love for God, their joy, their cheerfulness, their compassion, sympathy, gratitude, helpful nature!
🌷Let them be known and seen to be striving to conform with God's will and not the pattern of this world.
🌷Our children are God's gift to us, may God bless them.
Blessings...

Waiting for a life partner?

Waiting for a life partner?
🌿🌼It's impossible to find some one perfect but sure can find one who trusts God in midst of his/her imperfections.
🌿🌼Pray for a person who is after God's own heart, who will change your life for the better and not just your relationship status.
🌿🌼A person who cares, is concerned, loving, doesn't talk about your weakness to others but praise you.
🌿🌼 Above a take time to pray with and for you, reads the Word of God with you.
God being the centre of a relationships makes all the difference!
Blessed day,

Before it is too late..

🌿🌺 Do not wait until too late. Keep checking on family and loved ones stranded far away due to this lock-down.
Sometimes just praying with them, few words of encouragement or asking them how they are doing is all they need to hear.
Sometimes our loved ones may just wait to hear our voice.
Before too late, keep reaching out in love.
🌿🌺Sometimes vital and important relationships take a back seat because of our busy schedule, career, ministry, or other activities that keep us busy!
🌿🌺Some of our elderly, grand-dads, grand-moms, are forgotten lying all alone just longing to hear few words of love.
When we remember people we had forgotten or those we left behind and turn back to say how much they mean to us, they may be gone never to return and you may never be able to see them again,
🌿🌺So before it's too late we need to tell our loved ones how much we love and care for them.
Let us treasure every vital and important relationships in our lives.
Julia 🌸🌿

A Poem I read:
🍀BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE🍀
****************************
If you have a tender message or a loving word to say,
Do not wait till you forget it, whisper it today,
The tender word unspoken,
The letter never sent,
The long forgotten messages,
 The wealth of love unspent,
For these some hearts are breaking.
For these some loved ones cry.
So show them you care for them before it's too late.

Don't strew me with roses after I'm dead.
When Death claims the light of my brow, No flowers of life will cheer me.
Instead you may give me my roses now!

Family gatherings then and now!

Family gatherings in the past and present!
In the past young, the elderly and every family member in our lives were held in high esteem. Though there were no modern gadgets, they had lots of family times together. There was more face to face interactions.
But the present has more nuclear families, modern gadgets and they are so busy that many families have no time to spend together in fellowship, prayer etc.

#FamilyMatters
Adam and Eve lived in a home called the 'Garden of Eden'. God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it" (Genesis 1:28). Abba Father enjoyed a daily fellowship with Adam and Eve; He loved to walk and talk with them. God is the beginner of marriage, children, family and home and He is the Restorer of all things!

Reach out with love and care

🍀It actually costs us nothing to remind someone who is in a tough situation, that they are not alone, that we care, we are praying etc.
🍀Life is not easy especially during this time of lock-down. Millions are left jobless, homeless, clueless. Suicides increasing as people not able to cope up with not being able to have a meal. Many have no homes, no food, no change of clothes.
🍀People we know may be in tough situations like job loss, staring at a hopeless future, some may be battling with health issues etc.
🍀Let us be there for people, see how we reach out. Even a word of encouragement, a whisper of prayer may mean a lot to someone.

🍀And it is time to be strong, do not be worried who dislikes us, who hates us, there will always be people who scoff at our struggles, be insensitive to our pain, will not bind our wound but rub salt on it to intensify our pain.
🍀But we need to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus Christ our Lord.
HE LOVES US, UNDERSTANDS US, WILL FIGHT FOR US, WILL BIND OUR WOUNDS, FEELS OUR PAIN AND NEVER WILL LEAVE OR FORSAKE US!
HE WILL ALSO REJOICE WITH US, SHARING IN NOT JUST OUR PAIN BUT OUR MOMENTS OF JOY TOO!
🍀Let the spectators laugh, let them judge, let them not care.
We have a race to run,
🌿🌺 Hebrews 12:1 "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us."
🍀Let us stay focused on being faithful to the job assigned to us, our final reward in God's hands!
Be blessed serving The King!

Which one?

Hi family and friends...
It's time to make this choice if there is anyone who reads this, has not made this choice as yet.
IN LIFE WE HAVE MANY CHOICES, BUT ETERNITY HAS ONLY TWO.
HEAVEN OR HELL...

Matthew 25:46 "Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."
WHICH ONE DO YOU CHOSE?

IN THIS WORLD THERE IS ACTUALLY JUST 2 PATHS THAT LEAD TO ETERNITY~
NARROW OR BROAD.

☘️Matthew 7: 13 "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."
🍁WHICH ONE WILL YOU CHOOSE? There is just ONE WAY that leads to heaven.
☘️John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
🍁If you have not made this choice, do it today.
Jesus Christ our Lord waits with outstretched arms to hold you and make you His own.
He is the one who will give rest to a burdened soul.
Jesus said..
☘️Matthew 11:28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
🍁Tomorrow may never be yours. Choose Eternal life.
☘️John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
☘️John 5:24 "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.
☘️John 17:3 Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

🍁Escape eternal condemnation and the place of torment by choosing Jesus Christ.
☘️Romans 8:1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
☘️Luke 16:23 In hell, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side.
Let's beware...
☘️Jude1:4 For certain men whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are godless men, who change the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.
God bless you..
Julia

Look up, look around

Mobiles came and so many of us forgot to look at the real world around, it's beauty and even don't look at family members face to face and talk.
Most talking done via Whatsapp etc
This is a sad reality.
Let us deliberately keep away our mobile and enjoy reading, spending time with family, God, go for long walks, play games with our children.
If we sit with our eyes fixed on our mobiles our children will do the same.
Let kids enjoy their out door games, read books etc.
Let us not miss the beautiful sunrise, sunsets. Let us enjoy talking to people face to face.
Blessed week,
Julia

what do we treasure in our hearts?

What do we treasure and ponder in our hearts?
Who captivates our thoughts?
Who are we in Awe of?
🌿🌸Here a man of God writes..
🍀Habakkuk 3:2 "LORD, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, LORD. Repeat them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy."
🌿🌸It's said of Mary...
🍀Luke 2:19 "But Mary kept all these things and pondered them in her heart."
🌿🌸Here we read Mary "Treasured up"(NIV) or "kept all these things" (KJV) in her heart
means "to store information in  mind for careful consideration, hold or treasure up (in one's memory)."
🍀Luke 2:51-52 "Then he(Jesus) went down to Nazareth with them and was obedient to them. But his mother treasured all these things in her heart. And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men."
🌿🌸It's sometimes good to treasure the things we see God do around us, in the lives of people we love and just ponder about it, praise Him from the depth of our hearts. Sometimes His marvelous works are beyond our understanding but still we can trust in Him and know that His plans are always better and beyond our understanding.
🌿🌸What do we treasure and ponder in our hearts?

Know the facts

🌿🏵If "A" tells us something negative about "B" let us not quickly believe "A" and form a negative opinion about "B".
🌿🏵It is sad how easily we form our opinion of people from what we hear from others before even trying to get to know that person and trying to find out what the truth really is.
🌿🏵What we hear may not always be correct because they just may be repeating what they heard or felt. If truly concerned to sort out issues it is better to get "A" n "B" face to face and sort out issues.
🌿🏵For our eyes and ears may deceive us.
It's said..in
🌷Proverbs 25:7 b & 8 a "....what you've seen with your eyes do not bring hastily to court....."
🌷Proverbs 25:9b " ...do not betray another man's confidence..."
🍃Lord forgive us for the times we have judged people from what we hear others say about them, before really getting to know them.
Help us to be slow to judge, be quick to pray and be there for those going through difficult times and lift the fallen but not wound them further.
Change us Lord Jesus...🍃

it is what God thinks that matters!

Feel rejected?
Feel let down?
Feel unloved?
Feel it is all over?
🍂There will be people who will push you away unceremoniously, silently turn tables on you, let you down, turn against you, talk ill of you.
🍂But be encouraged, when Yahweh is there with you, He will look upon you with love and grace.
🍂He will never leave your side, lift you up, build you, give you honor, fame and praise.
It is what He says and thinks that finally matters.
Stay close to your Saviour.
He loves you.
Be blessed,
Julia 🌺🌿
