Each of us can make a difference...

Hi..
Each of us can make a difference...
Just because we can't preach or teach like great preachers and write like those great authors of best sellers, let us not think we are useless to God.
Just because we can't stand in the midst of the congregation and pray let us not think God does not hear us.
A whisper of prayer behind closed doors can make a ton of difference in someones life!
Sometimes we may wonder, "what difference can I make, I'm just too young or too old or a just a homemaker", but God has countless ways to use us if we yield our time and talents to Him.
Each of us can do something to make this world a better place!
Small acts can make great changes!
I just want to share with you a something I read that has blessed me soo much.
I don't know who wrote it but it's the words that matters.
Read below!
Be Blessed,
Julia

When you look at today's world, it's hard not to feel as though it is a 'lost cause'. After all, you are only one woman, what difference can you possibly make. You can pray, of course, and ask God to change the world we live in. But I believe He looks to His hands here on earth to show that God does make a difference.
Your hands and my hands . . . are God's hands.
To many we are the only Bible they will ever read. If we are to be like Jesus, we can't be like everyone else. People must be able to see a difference in us. If they see 'God' in us, and in our actions, then they're going to want God in their lives.

I spent a lot of time feeling frustrated and helpless. This wasn't the world I grew up in. It wasn't the world I wanted. It got so bad that I didn't even want to listen to the news or even read the newspaper. The overwhelming feeling of helplessness was just too much.
So I began to look for ways in which I could make a difference . . . even the smallest difference. And what a difference it made in my life!

Use your talent, whatever it might be, to touch another life.
~If you sew, make a rag doll for a homeless shelter.
~If you cook, stir up a batch of your great cookies for an Alzheimer's facility.
The list of things you can do is unlimited. Each one touches a life in ways you can never imagine. And while you are using your talents, your own spirits will soar and you'll feel Jesus in your heart.
~Make 1 phone call to someone who needs to hear from you. Let them know you are thinking about them.
~I adore greeting cards. I never leave the store with less than 5 or 6, buying them with no particular person or occasion in mind. Then I have them on hand to send (snail mail) with a handwritten note to someone needing a 'lift' or a 'touch'.Think how you felt the last time you received an unexpected card.
~Tell a Bible story to a child.
~Make a phone call to your congressman, let them know what you support and that 'you' do care what they are doing. Christians don't have to be silent. Speak up! You see, you aren't helpless.
Still feeling like there's nothing you can do?
Do you realize that if each of us only did a couple of things a week for others . . . how many lives we would touch for Jesus!

I personally want to give you my heartfelt "Thank you!" Spread the word that we are loved unconditionally by a Father who is never too busy to talk with us, walk with us and hold us up.
And we are His hands.

So also faith, if it does not have works (deeds and actions of obedience to back it up), by itself is destitute of power (inoperative, dead). (Amplified Bible)

From Gethsemane to Calvary you had me on Your mind~

My Dear Lord and Savior Jesus Christ...(Yeshua)
Your love continues to captivate my heart...

Lord I know you had me on Your mind when You prayed in anguish in the Garden of Gethsemane, that Your sweat fell like drops of blood.. You knew You had to died in my place, carry all my sins, shame, may pain, my sickness, sorrow, my curse and everything else that was not right and good in me. You willingly chose to die for me so that  I can be totally free & have eternal life...
O how I love You Lord Jesus...
 Luke 22:44
And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.
Lord I know You had me on Your mind when You were flogged and O how painful it was and what a deep wound it caused and how much of blood You shed but still You bore it all without a word, for by those stripes You wanted to heal me....
John 19:1
Then Pilate took Jesus and had him flogged.
O how I love You my Lord Jesus/Yeshua my Savior...

Lord I know You had me on Your mind when they placed a crown of thorns on Your head and pressed it hard, how it pierced through Your head and eye-balls and blood oozed out, It hurt You so badly but You didn't open Your mouth and complain but bore it all for all evil thoughts and sights of mine....
O how I love You Jesus/Yeshua my Lord...
Lord you had me on Your mind when You were mocked, spat on Your face and when they pulled Your beard and stripped you...for You wanted to bear all my shame and clothe me with Your righteousness...
O how I love You Jesus/Yeshua the Lover of my soul....
Matthew 27: 27 Then the governor's soldiers took Jesus into the Praetorium and gathered the whole company of soldiers around him. 28 They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him, 29 and then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on his head. They put a staff in his right hand and knelt in front of him and mocked him. "Hail, king of the Jews!" they said. 30 They spit on him, and took the staff and struck him on the head again and again. 31 After they had mocked him, they took off the robe and put his own clothes on him. Then they led him away to crucify him.
Lord you had me on your mind when you picked up the cross..O how heavy it was and it hurt your bruised back..but still you bore it for you made up your mind to carry my every burden...
O how I love You Jesus/Yeshua my King...
John 19:17
So the soldiers took charge of Jesus. Carrying his own cross, he went out to the place of the Skull (which in Aramaic is called Golgotha).
Lord I know You had me on Your mind when Your hands were nailed and You bled, it hurt You so...bad but You wanted to bear the sinful works of my hands so that now my hands can be blessed to bless others and serve others!
O how I love You Jesus/Yeshua my Shepherd...
Luke 23:33
When they came to the place called the Skull, there they crucified him.
Lord You had me on Your mind when Your legs were nailed and You bled again, it was too much to bear but still You bore the pain for all the wrong places these feet led me..so that now every place I go is blessed...
O how I love You Jesus/Yeshua my Guide...
And finally when a spear was pierced through Your side rupturing a portion of Your heart and Your stomach and blood and water gushed out...you still had me on Your mind for Your heart was ruptured for the wickedness of my heart, so that today my heart is a place where where You live..and filled it with Your love and compassion...
O how I love you Jesus/Yeshua my Provider...
John 19:34 Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus' side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water.
And even today Lord Jesus, as You sit at the Father's right hand You still have me on Your mind and keep watching over me...and interceding for me
O how I love You Jesus/Yeshua .....

I bow before you Lord...
I praise you Jesus...
You are my Saviour....
O how I love you Lord...
You mould me and make me into a woman after your own heart..
Thank you for your grace that saved a sinner like me.

Julia

Galatians 6:14
May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

Hi my dear brothers, sisters and friends,
Isn't it amazing to think our Lord Jesus Christ had each of us on His mind not just from Gethsemane to Calvary but from the beginning of creation?
He knew us even when we were in our mother's womb.
Be Blessed,

Julia
Hebrews 12:2
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
