Relationships that matters...

Hi..
People in our lives are sent by God nothing or no one is an accident.
It's said there are 4 types of relationship.
~Those who ADD to our life,
~Those that MINUS(Take away)
~Those that MULTIPLY,
and
~Those that DIVIDE.
There are always people who rub us the negative way but let us not be offended by them but just move on.
We will meet people who will love us and others who will hate us. There will be those that understand us and those that misunderstand us.
People who will praise us and others who will talk ill of us.
We sometimes tend to get offended when people we love hurt us, people we trust betray our trust and when people misunderstand us.
When we let offense take over our spirit, we end up loosing our joy and peace and slowly it turns to bitterness.

It's better to let go of all these feelings and move on...

Unforgiveness and Bitterness towards people who have offended us will only do more harm to us.

*Hebrews 12:15 "looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled.."

If we do not forgive people who hurt us and if we hold bitterness in our hearts we will grieve the Holy Spirit.

Let's get rid of all that weighs us down.

*Ephesians 4:30 "And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32 Be kind... and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."

When people talk negative about us someone said,
"If it is UNTRUE~ DISREGARD it!
~If UNFAIR~ do not let it get under your skin,
~If MISINFORMED~ Correct it!
~If MALICIOUS~ smile and be bigger than your critic,
~If JUSTIFIED~ Learn from it!"
That's some good advice!
Let's...
Concentrate on relationships that motivates us to look ahead at our Glorious future, encourage us in the Lord..

Focus on relationships that builds us up and inspires us to be a better person ..

Treasure relationships that forgives, prays, helps, understands and loves ....

Hold on to those who give us a hand when we stumble, correct us when we make mistakes... don't rejoice when we fall...and help steady us and walk with us in this narrow path.....

And Courageously move on...and look out for those who need a touch of God's love and share with them what we have!

Be Blessed..
Julia

Grant Lehman: writes
" There is a scriptural tool for an offense, An offense is a divine tool to disconnect you from someone unqualified for your future.
We must not give life to that which the Lord is trying to root out. When God wants to protect you, He removes someone from your life.
When God wants to bless you, He brings someone into your life."
Any so called friend of yours that can influence others to act negatively towards you, either by a lie or truth twisted or real truth out of order.
You can thank your so called friend that has flushed out the 'others' who would never be there for you anyway.
Spend your time with those who celebrate you, not just tolerate you.
You have never lost a true friend, only an impostor.
