Light of this world...

Hi family and friends..
Greetings from India.
Millions in our Nation and world all over are celebrating the "Festival of Lights".
Let's pray they will get to know the "Light of this world."

John 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
This world needs to know this Light of life.

Let's come out of our comfort zone!
Let's not get too comfortable in one place that we don't want to take this light to other places...
The world needs to know and hear about JESUS CHRIST our Lord...if we don't be bold  and share who else will??
We have just this one life and how many years have gone by.....
~~How many souls we led to our Lord?
~~How many more friends, loved ones, neighbours still need to know our Savior?
~~How many lifes have we been a blessing to?
~~To how many have we shared our faith and testimony to?
Let's keep doing something for JESUS and for the people in our life, to those around us, for those in the BODY OF CHRIST and more for those who still don't know JESUS!!!

Philippians 2:15 (New International Version)
15so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe.
~~We need God's help to be all that He wants us to be.
We need His guidance to do what He calls us to do..
~~Pray the Lord will use each of us for HIS glory in the coming days.
"USE US LORD"
My Dear Heavenly Father....
What do you want me to do?
Where do you want me to go?
This one short life I lay at your feet...
Mould me and make me...
Help me to be the light you've called me to be.
Help me to wipe a tear, kindle a smile, share your love'
Love you Lord,
In Jesus Name,
AMEN
RISE UP and TAKE AN UNCOMPROMISING STAND FOR JESUS!!
Reach out to the lost and help the hurting.
life is short.
PRAY AT ALL TIMES FOR ALL THINGS!!

Julia

EYES

Hi..
"EYES"
God gave each of us a beautiful pair of eyes.....isn't it?
*We learn as kids in school..."We see with our eyes".
*Yes, it's because of these eyes we are able to see, read, enjoy the beauty around us!
*But....we don't just see with our eyes....
~~Our eyes often mirror our innermost feelings and thoughts too.
~~It also expresses or fear, anger and other negative feelings....
~~Eyes are an effective tool of communication too.
~~It also shows our interest or disinterest in the conversation...!
~~Eyes are so...precious to us.
~~Our eyes express love, concern, joy, compassion.
~~It also expresses our hurt and sadness...for when we are hurt or sad we do cry....
Tears flow from the eyes..
"Tears can be an expression of pain, fear, joy.
It can also mean a thank you note.
It can mean words unspoken.
But I'm happy to know every drop of my tear is treasured in the King's (My Lord JESUS CHRIST'S) Archive!!"

Psalm 56:8 You number my wanderings;
      Put my tears into Your bottle;
Are they not in Your book?
~Above all we need to guard our eyes, for Satan will try to distract us in our spiritual walk so....often by the things we see!
That's why God's Word says..
**Job 31:1 "I made a covenant with my eyes not to look lustfully at a girl."
**Psalm 101:3 "I will set before my eyes no vile thing. The deeds of faithless men I hate; they will not cling to me."
**Psalm 101:5 "Whoever slanders his neighbor in secret, him will I put to silence; whoever has haughty eyes and a proud heart, him will I not endure."
**Psalm 119:18 "Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law.
**Psalm 119:148, "My eyes stay open through the watches of the night, that I may meditate on your promises."
**Psalm 141:8 "But my eyes are fixed on you, O Sovereign LORD; in you I take refuge—do not give me over to death"

Are we lukewarm or on fire ?

Our time may be running out....
If we are lukewarm in our spiritual life or have turned away from God or have back slid, it's time to turn to God, ask forgiveness and move ahead in our spiritual life...
Someone said.."For we can't see the stop-watch of God's patience and there's no bargaining for additional time"

Bless others....

Hi........
We serve a God who is constantly blessing us.
He says in..
Genesis 22:17 "I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. "
Psalm 29: 11 "The LORD gives strength to his people;
the LORD blesses his people with peace."
We too need to bless not just the people who love us and do good to us but even those who curse us and those who persecute us.
Luke 6:28, "Bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you."
Romans 12:14 "Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse."
Instead of trying to take revenge let's see ways we can help them and pray with them and for them.
We can bless others by our words, deeds, prayers and giving them something they'll like or they need.
We can also bless people with a "smile", a 'hug" etc.
Above all we need to Bless our God. His Name is above every Name.
Psalm 16:7 I will bless the LORD who has given me counsel; My heart also instructs me in the night seasons.
Psalm 115:18 But we will bless the LORDFrom this time forth and forevermore. Praise the LORD!
God Bless you,
YSIC,
Julia
"BLESSED ARE THOSE"
Blessed are those who take the time
To listen to difficult speech,
For you help me to know that
if I persevere,
I can be understood.

Blessed are you who never bid me to hurry up or take my tasks from me
For my failures will be out weighted
By the times I surprise myself and you.
Blessed are you who asked for my help
For my greatest need is to be needed.
Blessed are you who understand that it is
difficult for me to put thoughts into words.
Blessed are you who with a smile encourage
me to try once more.
Blessed are you who never remind me that today
I asked the same question twice,
Blessed are you who respect me and love me
just as I am...
" Love one another deeply, from the heart."

- prevent & fight allergy
- boost immune system

- protect the heart
- slower ageing
- relieve stress
- enhance physical performance & etc
Disadvantages of Drinking Green Tea For Weight Loss:1) Green tea is not a magic bullet
While some people will tell you that green tea is the be-all-end-all for weight loss success, I think the keyword here is balance. You’re not going to eat 5000 calories a day, drink a cup of green tea and make it all go away – it just isn’t going to happen. A healthy diet and increased exercise will go a long way in helping you lose weight and keep it off.
2. Be cautious of the caffeine if you have health problems
For some people that have heart troubles, high blood pressure or stimulant sensitivities, the caffeine in green tea may not be the best idea. If you’re worried about the caffeine from green tea, try taking green tea extract. Most green tea extract is made from decaffeinated green tea so you can still get the weight loss benefits without the caffeine.
Cautions and Suggestions about Drinking Tea
•        People with stomach problems should drink light green tea and only do so after meals.
•        Pregnant woman should limit their tea drinking –no more than 2 servings (4 grams) of green tea per day.
•        When you are starving, avoid drinking tea. Tea will enhance your metabolism and makes you feel hungrier; sometimes, it might make you nauseated.
•        If you are taking medicine, do not use tea water to help you swallow the pills. Tea may interact with the medicine.
•        Do not drink too much tea at night before you go to bed. Not only will the caffeine in tea
keep you awake, the water you take in will wake you up.
•        Generally, do not let kids (younger than 12) drink tea if they are not used to caffeine. If
let them drink, only allow them to drink light green tea and only during the day.
•        Do not drink tea left over from the previous day.
•        Try to brew tea in cups made of china, glass, earth pot or stainless steel containers. If
use paper cup, use specially designed cups for brewing tea. Do not keep tea in the paper cup
for too long. Drink it as soon as possible.
•        Never brew tea using foam cups. Tea will interact with it and generates harmful
substances.
•        When green tea is brewed, it should be light green. If it is brown or dark after brewing,
do not drink it.
•        Clean teacups or pots immediately after tea is served. Otherwise it is very hard to clean
them.
•        To maximize green tea benefits, do not add sugar to the tea.

Let us not loose out on our miracle...

Hi..family and friends..
Let us not cancel our miracle by harboring bitterness, unforgiveness, grudge, impure and negative thoughts. Let's not loose out on entering our promised land by complaining, murmuring, grumbling. The Israelites not only roamed in the desert for 40 years, one generation failed to see the promised land.`
Abba father..
Help us to be humble, loving, kind and not be hard hearted, unforgiving and bitter..
In Jesus Name..
Amen
God's word says...
Ephesians 4:30 "And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."
1 Peter 4:9 Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling.
Resentment and bitterness can grow and grow like a weed and takes deep root in us, destroying even the good in us.
That's why the Bible wars us in...
Hebrews 12:15 See to it that no one misses the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.
So let us let go of all negative feelings.
Ephesians 4:32 " Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you."
Colossians 3:13"Be gentle and forbearing with one another and, if one has a difference (a grievance or complaint) against another, readily pardoning each other; even as the Lord has [freely] forgiven you, so must you also [forgive]."
2 Corinthians 12:20  "For I am afraid that when I come I may not find you as I want you to be, and you may not find me as you want me to be. I fear that there may be quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, factions, slander, gossip, arrogance and disorder."
Today, if we feel we have any un-forgiveness, bitterness or resentment in our heart, can we tell the Lord to take it away?
We reap what we sow.
Let's sow forgiveness, love, joy, laughter, money, material things, prayer and other good things,
May God's love rule and reign in our hearts.

HIS PETALS OF HOPE

Psalm 103:17 "But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children—"
Hi Family and friends...
Just a passing thought at the end of the day.
Do not be discouraged when someone fails to understand you or fails to see your heart.
If Jesus is your Savior, it's what He thinks about you that really matters.
People may misjudge you, misquote you, fail to see your genuine concern.
But Jesus Christ your Lord loves you. He's the One who knows you as you are.
He was the one who saved you and me!
It was He who picked us up when we were in the pit of sin and cried out to be saved. He looked upon us in Mercy and compassion.
He never accused us of your condition nor did He shake His finger at us and cast us out.
He reached down to pick us up.
He made us stand on solid ground, washed our sins with His Precious Blood.
He looked at us and said.."I love you and will never leave or forsake you. You are mine."
Today we are His.
Let us commit our ways and all that's ours in His Mighty hands and continue to faithfully do all that's He's called us to do!!
Our reward is in His hands
We may not be perfect but we are saved by His grace and for sure walking towards perfection.
Below is a beautiful poem.
Stay Blessed,
YSIC,
Julia
Jeremiah 31:3 The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.
PETALS OF HOPE
Falling from the sky now
Soft petals of His Love
Heart is filled with sorrow
He's watching from above

Asked Him for a minute
Begged Him to come down
Put His Arms around me
Heard Him say "Don't Frown"

I told Him how I'm feeling
He told me that He knew
Cried a Tear He wiped it
Standing in my view

He touched me with a gentleness
Like the softness of a prayer
I need to feel Your comfort
He said "My Child I'm here"

I felt His Hand upon me
I looked at Him and sighed
My heart it feels so empty
This pain will not subside

He sent a pretty butterfly
Emerging from the sky
Brought to me such comfort
With softest wings that fly

Rolling stream to sit by
Cleansed my soul today
Water touched by heaven
Bright crystals sent my way

Majestic tree of beauty
Shelter for me now
He gave to me love's power
As leaves began to bow

Flowers in a meadow
Sweetest of bouquets
There before my eyes
The grandest of ballets

All these things you asked for
They're with you on the earth
Take from them the comfort
They'll always give refreshment

Then the Light of Heaven
It shined from up above
Felt my heart just bursting
Bright Rays of Tender Love

He whispered to me softly
I'm always here each day
Standing right beside you
Teaching you to pray

Trials...

Trials and Tests are part of life.

Feel like the burden is too heavy?
Let's choose to cast our burdens on our Savior Jesus Christ for He promised never to leave or forsake us.
He will in due season lift us up.
🌸 JOB 36:15 But those who suffer He delivers in their suffering; he speaks to them in their affliction.
We need these sufferings in life to strengthen our spiritual muscles.
🌸 1 Peter 4:12 Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you.
🌸 ROMANS 5:3-4 "Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope."

The Bible says we are to rejoice in our suffering.
It's so..hard to do that but we need to encourage ourselves in the Lord and rejoice in Him.
Suffering is for a moment sometimes and sometimes it may last last longer but through all this when we hold on to our Lord, He will give us peace and strength to face this trial come out victorious.

🌷Abba Father..help us to learn our lessons when you are trying to teach us and pass the tests we go through.
Help us to rejoice in spite of our tests, hurts, trials and disappointments. Help us not to turn bitter and angry.
Help us to learn patience.
In Jesus Name we pray..
Amen

Offended?

Hi..
We sometimes tend to get offended when people we love hurt us, people we trust betray our trust, when people misunderstand us or we  misunderstand someone good motives.
In this stressful world one gets offended so....easily.
Today we see a rise in the number of suicides among children and teenagers.
It's sad some of them wanted to end their life because they were offended at the way they were treated or could not take discipline or even good advice.

People who do a good job, have  a good intentions are also taken in offense!
Mark 6:3
"Where did this man get these things?" they asked. "What's this wisdom that has been given him, that he even does miracles! Isn't this the carpenter? Isn't this Mary's son and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas and Simon? Aren't his sisters here with us?" And they took offense at him.

When we let offense take over our spirit, we end up loosing our joy and peace.
It's better to let go of all hurt feelings.forgive people who offend us and ask forgiveness when we offend people.
One of the devil's beatitudes is,
Blessed are those who are easily offended
for they will soon get angry and quit.
But we are not quitters but more than conquerors.
Romans 8: 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us
Let us continue to shine for JESUS.
Let's be 'stars' that reflect the Glory of God.
Let's not let rude people steal our joy...
Be blessed this day,
 ~Julie~

We cannot stop the storm..but sure can learn to survive it.....!

Hi.......
Have you sometimes wondered...
"Why do bad things happen to good people?" and
"Good things to bad people?"
As believers, we too face storms in our life and some storms are really fierce.
One thing I've learned,
We can't stop the storm but can learn how to survive it!
How we react to the storm and handle it matters.
Instead of asking, "Why Lord?" We can ask,"Lord how can I handle this, show me ways to survive this?"
Characters of a storm...
  • Storms will come.
  • It will come suddenly ( Illness, accident, loss of finance etc happens all of a sudden)
  • It may be severe.
  • It may last for a long time sometimes.
So we see that  storms are a reality....!
Dear child of God, are you going through trials, pain, losses, delays, prolonged illness....??
Feel like giving up...?
Please hold on....For the storm will pass by....!
Remember our redeemer lives and He said,"I'll never leave you or forsake you."
So you are not alone in the storm.
Your saviour who promised He will never leave you is with you even if you are right in the middle of the storm....
Just the thought Jesus is with you  is YOUR ANCHOR OF HOPE!
He will comfort you, intervene in your problems BUT IN HIS TIME & HIS WAY!
HE IS IN CHARGE OF THE WAVES THAT TRY TO TOSS THE SHIP(Your life)....REMEMBER THE WAVES ( YOUR PROBLEMS) ARE UNDER HIS FEET!
Isn't that comforting?
How we respond to the storm matters... !
If when we face problems we say'" I won't read the Bible" "Won't go to Church" etc we will only mess up things.
We got to continue to hold on to our faith
and walk with faith!
We should keep our focus on Jesus and not on the storm that rages around us.
Once our focus shifts to the storm we start to sink.
Matthew 14: 28"Lord, if it's you," Peter replied, "tell me to come to you on the water."
29 "Come," he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, "Lord, save me!"

Are you walking through a fierce storm? Is the pain too much to bear?...
Is your burden too heavy?
Look up to Jesus ..He's right beside you...
Tell Him you love Him , Praise Him in midst of your pain....!
He knows your pain , He has suffered more pain that that and so understands...
Just love Him and surrender your all to Him...
Rest in His arms and let the storm rage...As long as your eyes are fixed on His face that's all that matters....
Daniel's 3 friends said that they will not bow to that idol even the Lord didn't save them.
DANIEL 3:17,18
~~"If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to save us from it, and he will rescue us from your hand, O king.
18 But even if he does not, we want you to know, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up."~~
Habakkuk 3:17,18
~~" Though the fig tree does not bud & there is no grapes on the wines...though the olive crops fail, YET I WILL REJOICE IN THE LORD I WILL BE JOYFUL IN GOD MY SAVIOUR!"~~
Today even in the midst of the storm can we praise HIM?
I trust and pray some one out here is blessed and encouraged.

YSIC,
Julia
~Story for the day~
LIFE'S STRUGGLES

A man found a cocoon of an emperor butterfly,
He took it home so that he
could watch the butterfly come out of the cocoon.
On the day a small opening
appeared, he sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force the body through that little hole.
The butterfly seemed to be stuck and appeared to have stopped making progress.
It seemed as if it had gotten as far as it could and it could go no farther.
The man, in his kindness, decided to help the butterfly; so he took a pair of scissors
and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon. The butterfly then emerged
easily. But its body was swollen and small,
its wings wrinkled and shriveled.
The man continued to watch the butterfly because he expected that,
at any moment, the wings would enlarge and expand to and able to support the body, which would contract in time.
Neither happened!
In fact, the little butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a small, swollen body and shriveled wings. It never was able to fly.
The man in his kindness and haste did not understand that the struggle required
for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening was necessary to force fluid from the body into its wings so that it would be ready for flight upon achieving its freedom from the cocoon.
Freedom and flight would only come after the struggle.
By depriving the butterfly of a struggle, he deprived the butterfly of health.
Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our life. If we were to go through
our life without any obstacles,
we would be crippled.
We would not be as strong as what we could have been.
Give every opportunity a chance, leave no room for regrets, and don't forget the power in the struggle.
