True Friends

#thankgodfortruefriends
#TrueFriends not only stay around in our most difficult times but will lead us out back into the light!
When we can't find a way out, and do not know how to come out of a situation, they not only give a hand but will show us a way to get out of the maze we are caught in!
A few #TrueFriends who stay by us through our #difficult and #dark times, are better than many #fairweather friends, who fade away in our hard times.
In The Bible many of Job's friends left him when he was going through the most difficult time of his life.
Job 19:14 My relatives have failed, And my close friends have forgotten me.
Job 19:19 All my close friends abhor me, And those whom I love have turned against me.
The fact of life is...
Proverbs 14:20 "The poor man is hated even by his own neighbor, But the rich has many friends."
But the truth is, 'True Friends' will love at all times! #Period!
Proverbs 17:17 "A friend loves at all times, And a brother is born for adversity."
Today let us thank God for all our true friend, loves ones who stay by our side through thick & thin, good times & bad times, our highs & lows, up & down!
But the greatest love and the Best ever friend we can have is our Lord Jesus Christ!
If we follow Him and keep His commandments, He calls us His friends!
John 15:14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.
And what more, He laid His life for us!
John 15:13 "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends."
God bless,
Julia

Let them go by Pastor Owen

Hi....
I read this bulletin posted by Pastor Owen a couple of days back.

LET THEM GO!
~By: Pastor Owen

There are people who can walk away from you.
And hear me when I tell you this!
When people can walk away from you:
let them walk.

I don't want you to try to talk another person into staying with you, loving you, calling you, caring about you, coming to see you, staying attached to you.
I mean hang up the phone.
When people can walk away from you let them walk.
Your destiny is never tied to anybody that left.

The Bible said that, they came out from us that it might be made manifest that they were not for us.
For had they been of us, no doubt they would have continued with us.
[1 John 2:19]
Continue:
2:20- But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.
2:21- I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
Hope deferred maketh the Heart sick, but when the desire cometh
it is the Tree of Life-
Proverb 13:12
People leave you because they are not joined to you. And if they are not joined to you, you can't make them stay.

LET THEM GO!

And it doesn't mean that they are a bad person it just means that their part in the story is over And you've got to know when people's part in your story is over so that you don't keep trying to raise the dead.
You've got to know when it's dead.
You've got to know when it's over...
Let me tell you something. I've got the gift of good-bye. It's the tenth spiritual gift, I believe in good-bye. It's not that I'm hateful, it's that I'm faithful, and I know whatever God means for me to have He'll give it to me. And if it takes too much sweat I don't need it. Stop begging people to stay.
LET THEM GO!!!

If you are holding on to something that doesn't belong to you and was never intended for your life,
then you need to........
LET IT GO!!!

If you are holding on to past hurts and pains ......
LET IT GO!!!

If someone can't treat you right, love you back, and
see your worth.....
LET IT GO!!!

If someone has angered you ........
LET IT GO!!!

If you are holding on to some thoughts of evil and revenge......
LET IT GO!!!

If you are involved in a wrong relationship or addiction.....
LET IT GO!!!

If you are holding on to a job that no longer meets your needs or talents
LET IT GO!!!

If you have a bad attitude.........
LET IT GO!!!

If you keep judging others to make yourself feel better......
LET IT GO!!!

If you're stuck in the past and God is trying to take you to a new level in Him......
LET IT GO!!!

If you are struggling with the healing of a broken relationship.......
LET IT GO!!!

If you keep trying to help someone who won't even try to help themselves.....
LET IT GO!!!

If you're feeling depressed and stressed .........
LET IT GO!!!

If there is a particular situation that you are so used to handling yourself and God is saying "take your hands off of it," then you need to......
LET IT GO!!!
Let the past be the past. Forget the former things.
GOD is doing a new thing for 2007!!!
LET IT GO!!!
Get Right or Get Left .. think about it, and then .
LET IT GO!!!
"The Battle is the Lord's!"
be blessed,

Pastor Owen

This reminded me of a poem long back, posted by
Dutchman(Antonio), and thought..how true this is!!
He writes..

Remember
that flighty friends
are like birds.
They come and go.
They fly away when
you least expect it.
They fly the coop and
make you feel like a fool.
But, a true friend
is hard to find.
Never leave them behind.
When death draws near,
all that is dear is
how much love you gave,
and how much love you had.
So let the birds fly,
but keep your spirits high.
For your true friends
are jewels to you,
and are rare.
( Antonio )

It's so...true..
Friends are so easy to find,
they are just a click away.
But true friend are really rare..very rare.

When you find a true friend treasure them.
A friend in Christ will love you at all times.
(Proverbs 17:17)
Let friends who are like "Flighty Birds" fly.
True friends are the ones who stay when the going gets tough. They are priceless..
Here's what someone else wrote...
There are those who pass, like ships in the night
Who meet for a moment, then sail out of sight
With never a backwards glance of regret
Folks we know briefly, then quickly forget
Then there are those who sail together
Through quiet waters and stormy weather
Helping each other through joy and strife
And they are the ones that give meaning to life.
Be grateful to friends who stay by your side in tough times, in times of struggles.
Take time to thank God for your friends!!
GOOD NIGHT!!
Be Blessed,
Julia

❀"TRUST" This a very important ingredient in building a strong relationship.

Hi..

❀ "TRUST" This a very important ingredient in building a strong relationship.
Trust is never doubting another person for a second.
Trust is knowing that person is not going to betray you.
No relationship can survive if trust is missing. Marriages and friendships have been broken by the destruction of trust.
Are we worthy of trust?
Can someone confide their struggles and feelings and be sure it is safe with us?
Is our "Yes" a "yes"
and our "No" a "No"?
Are we true in commitments we make?
Can our words be trusted?
Once I read some postings by a brother-in-Christ, Michael and was really blessed.
He writes...
Trustworthiness means
· Be Honest
· Don’t deceive, cheat, or steal
· Be reliable- do what you say you’ll do
· Have the courage to do the right thing
· Build a good reputation
· Be loyal- stand by your family, friends and country.
God placed us in families and connects us to people and all things will work out for our good when we trust in Him! God is even concerned for the lonely and picks them up and places them in families or in a place of security!
Psalm 68:6 "God sets the lonely in families, he leads out the prisoners with singing"
And even if we feel we have no one, there is a God who will never abandon us! He is always trustworthy!
Deuteronomy 31:6 "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Relationships based on love, honor, respect, faith, trust, with family members, friends, fellow believers in Christ, co-workers, neighbors, will not only enrich our lives but will...
make a house a home,
makes us feel special,
help us grow in our spiritual life,
make us feel secure and safe
help us find people who will lift us up when we fall down,
helps us live in harmony with our neighbors,
make the atmosphere at work place lively,
So let us strengthen these relationships!
"If therefore there is any encouragement in Christ, if there is any consolation of love, if there is any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose. Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind let each of you regard one another as more important than himself; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others." Philippians 2:1-4 (NASB)
May God give us the gift of trust out of sheer love. May we learn to be trustworthy out of a genuine concern for integrity and the relationship..
Stay Blessed,
YSIC,
Julia

I am Blessed...

As iron sharpens iron, a friend sharpens a friend.

Proverbs 27:17 NLT

•..¸A true friend is one who'll stay by you when

many rise up against you,

..¸
They don't just appreciate you, they won't gossip

behind your back but will correct you when you

make a mistake, lift you up when you fall.

..¸
Today thank God for your true friends for they are

a blessing to you.

..¸
Making 100's of friends is not an achievement

miracle or a mile stone. In today's cyber world

friends are just a click away.

..¸

But it's a true blessing if you have just a couple of

true friends on earth, who'll stand by you through

thick & thin.

Be Blessed

Loyal Companion...

Sharing here a thought by Max Lucado(One of my favorite Authors)
QUOTE>One gets the impression that to John, Jesus was above all a loyal companion. Messiah? Yes. Son of God? Indeed. Miracle worker? That, too. But more than anything Jesus was a pal. Someone you could go camping with or bowling with or count the stars with…
Now what do you do with a friend? (Well, that’s rather simple too.) You stick by him.
Maybe that is why John is the only one of the twelve who was at the cross. He came to say good-bye. By his own admission he hadn’t quite put the pieces together yet. But that didn’t really matter. As far as he was concerned, his closest friend was in trouble and he came to help.
“Can you take care of my mother?”
Of course.
That’s what friends are for.

True friends are a blessing...

Hi....
`*✶♥Making 100's of friends is not an achievement, miracle or a mile stone.
In today's cyber world friends are just a click away.
`*✶♥But it's a true blessing if you have just a couple of true friends on earth, who'll stand by you through thick and thin.
It's a double blessing if your friends are in the Kingdom for then they encourage you, pray for you and with you.
`*✶♥True friends in Christ build bridges & not walls..
Treasure your true friends in the Kingdom..they can be such a blessing!
Proverbs 27:17 "As iron sharpens iron, a friend sharpens a friend."
`*✶♥A true friend is one who'll stay by you when many rise up against you,
They don't just appreciate you but also correct you when you make a mistake, lift you up when you fall.
When you find a true friend treasure them.
A friend in Christ will love you at all times.
(Proverbs 17:17)
`*✶♥So....when you find true friends, brothers  sisters in Christ keep them for they are precious assets!

If we have friends who do not know the Lord, let's start praying they know HIM, so that they too will receive the gift of eternal life.
But if we know JESUS as our savior the friends, brothers, sisters we find IN CHRIST will last with us for all eternity!
It's such kingdom connections that lasts for ever & it's Kingdom people who'll love at all times for it's Christ's love that rules & reigns in their hearts!
Let the love of God fill our hearts.
Today let's thank God for people we've met in the Kingdom who have blessed us!!!
We serve a faithful God..
Be Blessed,
Julia

A friend in Christ loves at all times....

Hi.....
 The Bible in Proverbs
17:17 says, " A friend loves at all times,"
When God says something He means it. Friendships within the Kingdom lasts a life time & we continue to fellowship as a family in God's presence, even after this life is gone.
I always believed friends we find within the Kingdom will be our friend always.
But I guess there are chances we'll meet people within the safe wall of the Kingdom, who'll make us believe they are our friends & when we get to trust them they disappear.
You know it takes a lot of Understanding, Trust & Time,to gain a true friendship in Christ. And true friends in Christ don't leave you when the going gets tough. If they did, remember they were not your friend at all. May be they just made you believe a lie.
What kind of friend are you & I ??
There's a vast difference between knowing people & being a true friend. 'The greatest evidence of genuine friendship is loyalty( loving at all times).
True Godly love, as said in

1 CORINTHIANS 13:7 "It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."
Godly love has no lust but it's pure!!
A Godly friend will always think good for his/her friend.  They always will protect, trust, hope & persevere. They will always take time to listen, be concerned for us & our family & never turn a cold shoulder.
They stand by us, not just in good times but in bad times too. They are ever ready to forgive, tho' we fail them a 100 times because they have the love of JESUS in them.
If friends we trusted, hurt us , let us down and betray our trust, let's not get discouraged or be angry with them. Let's pray for them. Pray God will pour His love more & more...

Too many people are 'Fair weather friends'.
They stick around when the friendship helps them & leave when they get nothing out of the relationship.
Are we fair weather friends or true friends??
If we find a Godly friend, let's be 'loyal' and 'kind'. Value the goodness in them. Friends are easy to find. They are just a click away , we see that here  on-line.
But true, Godly friends are rare jewels, treasure them. It's better to have a couple of true Godly friends than have a many acquaintances who just don't care.
When you find true friends keep them for they are precious assets!
Don't seek friendship with the world, then we may end up being drawn away from Christ.
Instead of wishing we find true friends, we could be the friend, God wants us to be.
Be Blessed,
Julia
