Hold on and Don't give up!

Hi..

Is the road bumpy?
Don't stop...God will make a way, where there seems to be no way....
Is the Night dark(it's meant to be so)?
 Don't quit...Light will break-forth soon...
Has the wait been long?
Hold on...your answer is on the way...
God is watching, our God is faithful and He is a God of surprises.
Many battles are lost at the discouragement and disappointment.
~The Payment due may be on it's way.
~The apology may be in the making,
~The healing will come,
~Restoration on the way,
~The job contract ready,
So...don't quit.
Remember..."QUITTERS NEVER WIN AND WINNERS NEVER QUIT."
ISAIAH 40: 31.."but those who hope in the LORD
       will renew their strength.
       They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint."
Hold on and don't give up.

A dream...Psalm 23

Hi...
I once got a dream...In the dream I'm calling a sister from Church and telling her..."Hi sis I'm very tired ..physically drained out"
( I literally was feeling that way as I had over exerted myself doing lot of cleaning etc)
She told me.."Julia just keep saying Psalm 23 over & over again"
That's all, soon after my alarm rang and I woke up and it was 6.15 AM.
Thought of starting to say "Psalm 23".
But as soon as I said the 1st verse...my mind got jammed with so..many voices saying different verses of Psalm 23 at the same time...just to confuse me and I could not go beyond verse 1..
I knew the enemy was disturbing my thoughts.
(He too can quote scriptures..:)
he did not want me to say Psalm 23.
So opened the Bible and read that Psalm.

Psalm 23

A psalm of David.
1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.  2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,

 3 he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
       for his name's sake.

 4 Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
       I will fear no evil,
       for you are with me;
       your rod and your staff,
       they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
       You anoint my head with oil;
       my cup overflows.

6 Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
       forever.

Then through the day I kept repeating "THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD" and really felt my strength renewed...
Guess what I was just about to sign out of Multiply that night and the last posting I saw in my in box was from a sister in Christ Lani and was titled.. was titled "Psalm 23"..
So I clicked to open it but the page just froze..
But I was not going to give up..
Kept refreshing and read it....
Coincidence??
No I think God wanted me to read it again...

Is He strengthening me or preparing me for something??
Is that a word of encouragement and comfort??
PRAISE GOD FOR HIS WORD..
It always refreshes, restores, edifies, strengthens.
This was Lani's post.
The Lord is my shepherd................that's a Relationship !
I shall not want.........that's Supply !
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures..........that's Rest !
He leadeth me beside the still waters........that's Refreshment !

For Thou art with me......that's Faithfulness !

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine Enemies.....that's Hope !

~God will heal our hurts~

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Paslm 68:6 "God sets the lonely in families,"

Matthew 15:30 Great crowds came to him, bringing the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute and many others, and laid them at his feet; and he healed them.

Isaiah 25:8 The Sovereign LORD will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove the disgrace of his people from all the earth. The LORD has spoken.

God will heal our hurts and disease, wipe our tears, forgive our sins if we sincerely turn to Him
because... on the cross

He felt the limp of the crippled,He felt the hurt and of the diseased,
He felt the loneliness of the leper,
He felt the embarrassment of the sinful,
He felt the shame of rejected and scorned
And once He felt their hurt, He couldn't help but heal their hurts and forgive their sin and remove their shame and give hope to the hopeless!

Our Lord is there with us even in the dark....~Author unknown~

"Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light"
( Micah 7:8)

FOOTSTEPS IN THE DARK

I do not hear Your footsteps
as you approach me sitting in silence
my eyes glazed, staring out the window
at the early morning newness.

I do not hear your footsteps
as a tear runs down my face
overwhelmed with oceans of emotion
as I whisper a prayer to you.

I do not hear your footsteps
as I lift my words to you
hoping with my heart and soul
that you will hear my desperate words.

I do not hear your footsteps

as I feel a comfort sweep through me
like a warm breeze in the spring
or a blanket wrapped around me in winter.

I do not hear your footsteps
as I begin to feel a strength
from deep within it grows
and I know I am not alone.

I do not hear your footsteps
but I feel your presence there
now knowing I'm not alone
I can feel your loving rush through me.

I do not hear your footsteps
as I end my silent prayer
but, as I stand to face whatever the day will bring
I know that your footsteps will never walk the other way...

I had to write this after sitting at the kitchen table this morning. It was quiet. The hour was early and the world was still sleeping. I looked out the window and felt the need to pray. As I did, my eyes misted with tears and although frightened, I knew that I was not alone. I wrote this small poem/prayer to convey the feelings I had, but know that the words do not do it justice. I don't know if any ever will. It's my hope that when you are in need, you "hear" the silent footsteps of God, coming to your side and comforting you like a child. For that's what we all are, to me.
No matter what your age, we are children of God who will never be abandoned by our Father -- no matter what !

In the picture, just look at their condition.. no place to sleep, still they have made some space for the cat and the dog... water poring from the roof but still
each one of them have a peaceful smile on their face.. Simply amazing!

Just like that!

 Hi ...
You know what..it good to rest a while in between our busy life and be refreshed.

We need to take time to find rest in His presence and also take a break to just appreciate the beauty of things around us.
Sometimes we are are so busy doing things and get really stressed out. Need to take sometime to unwind and relax.
Take time to sit by the window, watching the rain pour down...sipping a hot cup of coffee. It's God who sends the refreshing rain!!
Zechariah 10:1
".....It is the Lord Who makes lightnings which usher in the rain and give men showers,
and grass to everyone in the field."
Try~~~~
Just relaxing on the couch with your favorite book.
Or lying on a hammock in the back yard with a magazine to browse through or just watch the birds that fly by or admire the beauty of the trees & flowers around..
Try~~~
Playing with your dogs.....a while..
Giving someone you meet a nice, warm smile...
Taking a walk in the rain....
Watching the sunrise or sunset from the sea shore or just from your window!!
Go for a walk outside and take in all of God's great beauty around you...
Listen to the birds sing....
Admire the colorful beauty of the flowers...inhale its fragrance...
Or just watch the clouds pass by the sky...
Get lost in the beauty of a clear night sky with all the stars adorning it!!!
Watch the birds build their nests...
Feel the gentle breeze on your face and praise your creator for all that He's given you to enjoy..JUST LIKE THAT!!!!!
Take a break sometimes from our busy schedule to enjoy the beauty of God's creation all around you.
Once in a while take time to do the things you like...
JUST LIKE THAT!!!!!
Because....
" YOU ARE WORTH IT !!!!!!"
Take a break a while....

Life is a fast Runner

Psalm 39:4, " Lord remind me how brief my time on earth will be, remind me my days are numbered & my life is fleeing away."
Hi.....
This above scripture always reminds me, how short our life is and how we need to treasure every moment of it.
Life is a fast runner it will be gone soon.
So wanted to pen this down.
Let's not take people in our lives for granted.
Let's take time to aappreciate and love them.
We need to treasure our family, loved ones and friends, who knows today may be our last day on earth.
Kids are gifts from God, let's invest our best in them when they are around, so that they'll remember it all their life.
Let's love them unconditionally.
Kids to need to love and honor their parents and elders and not be indifferent to their love and concern.
We need to give the best to our loved ones & extended family members..remember their birthdays, anniversaries, visit them when they are sick.
Today let us refresh others with a smile, a loving word, a whispered prayer, a word of encouragement to someone, or a warm hug.It may be a small act for us but valuable to the one who receives.
Even as we refresh someone God will refresh us!!Let's spread the love of God around, even as we give God will pour more and more of HIS love within us.
PROVERBS 11:25," A generous man will prosper . He who refreshes others will himself be refreshed."
If we have friends who have blessed our life, let's treasure them no matter what because they are God's gift to us!
You see we have to learn to treasure every relationships in our lives, with our parents, our spouse, our kids, our brothers & sisters (our own & spiritual) & friends .
For God's given these relationships on earth to bring joy and happiness and help us in this short life on earth. I have learnt that the family God put me in, my parents, my 2 sisters are God's choice for me and so treasured them.
Later as I grew up I met a lot of people in my life, some just were people who passed by, who touched my life for a moment & moved away.
But there is my hubby, kids, extended family and dear friends who have entered my world in a special way to stay in my life and heart always.
I value each of them for the way they've touched my life. Each of them have a a part in making me a better individual.
It's not been easy, all relationships have had their times of trouble but I wouldn't want to loose any of the people in my life...NO MATTER WHAT!!!!
Let's not give up on people we love, though there will come testing and troubled times.
Let's hold on, God will restore all troubled and broken relationship. HE IS A GOD OF RESTORATION!!!
Also let's love and honor men and women of God who sow spiritual blessings in our life.
Let's take time to thank our Pastors, spiritual mentors.
This earth is our temporary residence, let's hold on lightly to the things of the world, love the people God gave us with all our heart, give the best in the job we do to earn our living.
Let people of God in business sell quality products and see to customer satisfaction.
We should be people of credibility.
Our mission to win souls for JESUS should always be our 1st priority on earth and of course we need to take time out to read God's word, meditate on it and  keep praying at all times.
Finally...
Someone said..."The cultured give and forgive,
The uncultured get and forget".

Let's always be willing to 'give' and 'forgive'.
Let's be ever willing to share our blessings, time & all that we can give to those in need.
Sometimes it's just a 'listening ear' someone needs, are we willing to give a few of our precious moments to listen to them?
Let's not hoard blessings nor harbor un forgiveness.
Be Blessed

Life is short...this moment matters.

Hi Family and friends...

Psalm 39:4, " Lord remind me how brief my time on earth will be, remind me my days are numbered & my life is fleeing away."
This scripture always reminds me, how short our life is and how we need to treasure every moment of it.
Life is a fast runner it will be gone soon.
Enjoy and treasure every moment...
Give it your best shot in all you do.
God Bless each of you,
YSIC,
Julia

This Moment Matters.
Precious moment, help me to not waste
you by attacking the great big world,
searching for all answers, for some solutions...
Help me to not weigh you down
with a negative thought,
a thoughtless word or action...

Help me remember that how well I use you
will determine my subsequent
moments, my hours, my days...
Help me remember that you are fleeting,
rushing, soon gone into eternity and
could take my existence with you...

So help me grasp you,
relish you, savor the inner peace
you afford me....
Help me use you to begin afresh,
if no more than to take a quick glimpse
into how I might use this rare opportunity...

To convince myself that I want to
live, live, live, and possibly,
feel another glorious moment like you..
